Yevgeny knows his business well. He helped us make an educated decision about what to do when our very large capacity hot water heater failed. He knows the people at the different material suppliers, he knows what the risks and costs are very well.
Yevgeny made sure our recirculating water system was robust and all new piping was in excellent condition. When he and his employee moved our old hot water heater out, they were very careful not to create even the slightest damage to the floors and walls. He made sure every detail was spot on. I would recommend Yevgeny and GeneralSF to anyone

Yevgeny is amazing! I was a bit weary at first because his price was a little higher than other quotes, but you get what you pay for...and he was worth every penny!

My house had an electrical fire, and needed emergency service. Yevgeny was the only one (out of at least five other electrician companies all of whom had high ratings on Yelp) to respond in a timely manner, and follow through with everything that he said he would. I am beyond pleased.

Great electrician! Him and another man helped re-wire old, frayed wires and replace breakers that were water logged from all the rain. He came out same day, was communicative, included photos to show me the problems, and presented me with lots of options for how to address the problem. He understands what needs to be fixed now (for safety) and what will need addressing sometime in the future.

I also showed him some other fixes around the house and he recommended other, good contractors (window guys, roofing people) that he says do good work. He didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need. I never got a sleazy vibe from him. Highly recommended!

An essential machine in our business was out of commission and he came to our rescue! It was a very specialized machine, a type he had never worked on before. However, because of his solid knowledge & expertise, he was able to make the proper remedies. He made sure to stay with us every step of the way, until everything was up & running. He even touched base with us shortly after to ensure everything was working correctly.

It makes me so happy that there are people like Yevgeny!

I have to give them a one star because I called, texted and sent a message via their website requesting a quote or at least a call back. It has been two weeks and nothing. No call text or email. If they are busy and or my job is too small I'm ok with that but some kind of response would have been nice. I think that 8 hr and 100% response needs to revised.

Update: I am changing my review to a 5 star. I was contacted by the owner who apologized for not getting back to me sooner. Turns out he wasn't getting my messages. We were finally able to connect and he came to my home in the evening (which I thought was very nice). He was very knowledgeable about contracting and electrical work. He was able to identify some flaws in our electrical work from a previous contractor. His goal was not to sell me a bunch of products or upgrades, his main goal was to get my problem solved. While we were not able to solve it on this first visit, we were able to identify where the problem likely is. The owner is very professional and gave me very good advice. Did not try to upsell me and did not speak down to me because I was a woman. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. You will not be disappointed!!

If I could give it 10 stars I would. My food disposer stopped working, and Yevgeny guided me how to re-set the disposer over the phone for free. It worked and saved me a lot of money. He also gave me some tips on how to take better care of the disposer in the future. Yevgeny is very professional and trustworthy. Would definitely call him again for any electrical or plumbing problems in the future.

I didn't actually meet Yevgeny in-person but I told him the issue I was having with my toilet and he explained to me that it would make more sense for him to walk me through trying to fix the issue over the phone versus having him come out since he thought my fix would be relatively simple. He asked me to send a photo of the inside of the toilet so he could make sure everything looked correct and called me back to try to walk me through the fix. Yevgeny is honest, professional and friendly and I'll definitely be calling him if I need anything electrical or plumbing related!
