I've been using General Sewer and Drain Service for years after my plumber (Delponte Plumbing in Glastonbury) first referred me to them. Poncho and Alex spent almost an hour diagnosing my current issues today. Poncho has been with the firm for over 25 years and is always willing to share his experiences and vast knowledge with me. Their pricing for both diagnosis and drain cleaning is very reasonable. Give them a call I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Everything from the initial phone call to the actual service was so seamless! I was able to get a drain cleaner the next day (it wasn't an emergency), and the job was done within a matter of minutes. I didn't get the drain cleaner's name, but he was on time, professional, and give me very helpful tips on keeping the drain clean/preventing another clog.

Pricing is very fair, and they will not try to upsell you on anything. Overall, I was very satisfied with General Sewer Service! I highly recommend them for all drain cleaning needs and sewer services!

I called contacted General for a second opinion when a plumber told me they couldn't unclog my shower drain without replacing the whole pipe (without even trying anything) for thousands (!?) of dollars. I explained the whole situation to General and they communicated very promptly and very clearly about how they could help. They agreed to go out and look at the job without an upfront fee and I was very pleasantly surprised when they were at the property within only an hour or so of my request. They quickly and easily unclogged the drain for the minimum amount they had estimated the job would take. In the end, they couldn't fix the whole problem (turns out there was also a leak unrelated to the clog which they don't do) but they gave me multiple referrals for other good plumbers in the area. I am very grateful to have found this honest, trustworthy, prompt and well-priced company. Would definitely use again if needed!

Poncho at General Sewer & Drain Service was outstanding. We were referred to this company by the initial Plumber that we called (thank you!). Poncho not only fixed the problem but gave us tips on how to avoid this problem (and others) in the future. We moved here in May and had already had a Plumber out once to fix the same type of problem previously. He charged twice the amount of money that General Sewer and Drain Service did. In part, this was because he didn't realize he couldn't fix the problem so he charged us for his time and then had to call someone else in anyway - which we were also charged for. By the way...this was a very common problem - toilet paper. I definitely recommend General Sewer & Drain Service - and especially Poncho!

We were refered to this company when the plumbers that we called were concerned they wouldn't be able to do the job that needed to be done. first KUDOS to that company for not wasting my time and money and then thanks again for recommending these guys. They were there within 45 minutes did amazing job and the price was incredibly reasonable. THEY DIDN'T TRY TO UPSELL ME SOME USELESS PRODUCT I DIDN'T NEED LIKE OTHER COMPANIES HAVE. BOTH WERE PROFESSIONAL AND VERY PLEASANT. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEY WERE DONE. Will use them again if I have a need.

Have been using this company for over 10 years to do annual maintenance on residential sewer line. The servicemen Luis and Pancho have been with the company for years, now that's loyalty. Have always experienced great service at a competitive price.

We discovered that our sewer line had backed up this morning at around 10:30. Being that it was a Saturday, we were concerned that we would be able to find someone available on such short notice. My wife and I are so happy we saw the advertisement for GS&D Service in the Yellow Pages. The woman who took the call explained what they could do and an estimate on the cost,and asked if after 12:00 would be ok. I said, today? Sure enough, at the promised time a truck backed up my driveway, and your associate, Louis introduced himself. He took a look, found what he needed and told me that we should be ok. he was right, he cleaned out the line to the street, and we are good to go. To think that you can call a company and have them come over and complete the job in four hours, on a Saturday, and might I add that there price was very fair, especially for a Saturday, I can't thank you all enough, Louis.

Let me start by saying the service man who came out to our home was wonderful. I'm giving this company one star because the owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. I had the serviceman come out to fix an issue, which it was not resolved. I called back within 24 hours to ask for someone to come back out, since we still had the same issue. The owner raised his voice at me, and was extremely annoyed with me asking normal questions. I will never give this company another penny.

I had a problem with my sewer drain also, they came out on a Saturday within one hour and fixed the problem and they were very reasonable. I would highly recommend them!
