Nancy Prather (Showroom Sales @ General Plumbing Supply Co.) truly went the EXTRA mile to assist in our bathroom remodel. She was attentive, professional, and really thought ""outside the box"" to help us get our project completed on time. I am a huge fan of supporting local East Bay businesses. I loved the beautiful showroom with many fixtures and items to look at for inspiration. I will be back...master bathroom needs a face lift, too. Thank-you, Nancy!

I personally love this place. I call, they have the part, and problem solved. I've come in- granted with a house with so many new shouldn't suck like this - and they advise me how to fix - I'm the DYI mama who refuses to pay extra- fix it and move on. So far we have fixed, shit stems on a dual vanity and a water heater less than 4 years old. They have every answer !! Thank you!!!?

They have the parts. They're expensive. Don't expect charming guys in there. Don't expect a thank you. Don't expect to go away satisfied even though you got the part you wanted.

The staff is amazing! I needed help locating a special faucet that up until that point seemed impossible. I called Gen. Plumbing and spoke to Erik, he found me a faucet that was nearly identical, same size and finish. The customer service was great, I really felt like these guys put in the extra work in order to help me with this, even going as far as emailing me back and forth when I had questions. Thanks, Erik! And everyone else at General Plumbing Supply, i highly recommend the Brentwood location to anyone! You won't regret it.

I went in looking for a cartridge for my Koehler kitchen faucet and they did not have in stock. The counter guy Carlos went above and beyond by identifying the cartridge I needed along with list of places and phone numbers that may have it in stock. Excellent customer service from him. I will definitely be coming back for any plumbing needs.

I went in for a quick question about a random piece I have been trying to hunt down. The guy at the front desk saw me walk in, and deliberately walked the opposite way down an aisle to avoid me. I waited, competely alone for a couple of minutes... and when he came back with stuff in his hand, he pointedly made me wait while he put them down, jotted a note down, checked his computer and only asked if he could help once it was painfully clear he would have to address me. I have NEVER been treated this way, made to feel this way in a place of business. This guy clearly judged me, and did not deem me important enough for him to waste his time. He even asked the manager (Johnny?) If he had heard of the thing I was looking for, in a sarcastic type tone. Based off this interaction, I will definitely not be returning for any reason.

I wish they had a negative rating. I ordered my fixtures and tub from them since they had better quality products than Lowe's or Home Depot. All of my order was special order and took 4 weeks for delivery, which we were ok with. The problem is the design center ordered wrong fixtures and incorrect tub. Every time we turned around and opened a box, it was wrong. Their response was very poor when I was trying to get correct products rushed. Didn't have much luck with the manager as well. He only called back when the delivery came. I will never use them again.

I wish I could give less than 1 star but unfortunately I have to give 1 star. I went in and spoke to a gentlemen in the design center, it was close to them closing for the day so he asked me to send him an email about what we were looking for, I did as he asked and after 5 days he never returned my email!! I called 4 more times for him that week all to be treated incredibly rude by the guys who answer the phone!!! Customer service there is awful all the way around!!!!

I have been in the plumbing field for 16 years now and I've been shopping with General Plumbing Supply in Brentwood for five years I've never had better service or better prices if I need to get any Plumbing part I'm going to General Plumbing. Rich at the counter is very helpful every time and he even cracks a few jokes which gets me out of my work mood.
They go out of their way to make sure I get the best prices and best service ....and even sometimes delivers the parts to my job if you're looking for plumbing parts don't bother going anywhere else.

They had what we needed. That's a positive.

The Negative...the man that we spoke with about a part told us we had to call the manufacturer. We had to get the part number information ourselves for the man to see if they had the part in stock.

I can see why he sent us away to the parking lot. We had to wait on hold and jump through some hoops to obtain the part number. It's interesting that the man could not look it up in his computer. We had all the information needed. It's interesting that it simply was not busy, and he made us do the leg work.

Again the positive...they had what we needed but the initial customer service was horrible. Hate to waste your time to sell something, as you seemed to have nothing else going on but to stand there.
