I had a emergency with my water heater it went out and had no hot water for 3 days.so l called around looking for some one to replace and had no luck with it being a Labor Day weekend. But then I came across General Plumbing & rooters on Yelp they answered and I spoke with Johnny he said that they would be able to come out and do the job. Johnny was very professional and he was very efficient .Johnny did a great job cleaned up and left work area as clean as if he never was there . I would highly recommend them for any plumbing job

Called them up to come in and give an estimate to fix a few leaking and broken faucets at my house. They started great by scheduling an appointment on the weekend and we worked out our weekend plans according to the time they had given us. Guy calls in an hour before the appointment, tries to estimate the work over the phone!!! and eventually cancels it. Very unprofessional!

Had these guys out to unclog a drain. Quoted $175 which was already high to begin with. Couldn't fix the job and wanted to dig up the yard to access pipes another day.
Used a different company and they cleared the line, inspected it with cameras and deep cleaned the drain to ensure good future flow for the same price.

The visit started off a bit bumpy, but boy did General come through for us. Pedro and Anthony got us out of a real mess of bathroom backups into tubs. And I have to say their diagnostic and service fix were spot on, quick, and to the point. Didn't charge us any extra fees and were completely upfront with what they thought it was what the cost would be, and then , in the end, charged us LESS because the issue wasn't as bad as they first thought. Thanks Pedro and Anthony, and thank you for your services in the US Marines!

Today I had plumbing emergency, clogged lines causing overflow in sinks and laundry room. General Plumbing responded promptly. Johnny was very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this company.

I seriously could not be more pleased with their service, professionalism, responsiveness, and overall great work. I will not hesitate to call them the next time we have a plumbing issue. Update 7/31/2018 - I received a call from General Plumbing today, and they are sending me a check for the $25 discount I was told I would get after the scheduling mix up. Increasing my score to 2 stars as they did follow up.

I should have listened to the other person who only gave 1 star. I too was impressed by the 5 star rating. I contacted General Plumbing via Yelp and arranged for them to come to my house 2 days later, between 9-11am. My husband took the morning off work. He called me at noon and told me that no one had arrived yet, so I sent a message. I received a prompt call back, but was in a meeting at work. When I called back, the person I talked said ""oh, are you the Jennifer girl from Yelp?"" I asked what happened, why they didn't show up. She said she had no idea, but would call me back in 15 minutes. Meanwhile, someone else replied to my yelp message and said they would give me a $25 discount. I received a call back and was told that the technician was on his way to the house. He finally arrived around 2:30. We had one shower drain snaked, and a trap of a bathroom sink cleared for a grand total of $375 for 30 minutes worth of work. Apparently the tech wasn't aware of the $25 discount. I will never use this company again. Don't let the 5 star rating fool you.

I called General because my kitchen sink was clogged and their reviews were pretty good and because they had some coupons. I asked about the $66 stoppage clear coupon and was told it would apply unless it didn't in which case the visit would be for a free estimate.

When the technician arrived and looked at the problem he estimated $220. I asked about the coupon and he said it applied only when there were no p-traps, etc. to remove. (When would that ever be the case?) I had a bid from another company for $150 so I asked about the $50 first time customer coupon and he agreed to apply it. So the cost was now within $20 and he was here so I said go ahead. He had to remove the pipes and the garbage disposal to get his snake into the lateral and after about 20 minutes he got it cleared. He pointed out that he saw wet soil and white mold under the house near the clean-out and pulled some mud from the pipe which could mean a break. Since I'm a renter that will be my landlord's problem.

Even though the coupon seems a bit like a bait-and-switch I think Jorge did a really good job and might have saved my landlord a major headache, though the headache will be all mine if plumbers have to replace the main under the house.

Called Friday at 10 for someone to come out. They said someone would be there between 12 and 2. The guy showed up at 11:45. He was very professional and knowledgeable. No BS, explained what he would be doing and even showed my husband what he did and explained it to him. This company was so quick and responsive and the plumber was amazing. I would recommend them and will use them for future plumbing issues.

I recently bought my first house and the prior owners did all kinds of peculiar things that are a nightmare to understand--among those, the plumbing. I called General and Johnny Morgan was dispatched. I can't say enough for the job he did and time he spent here. First, he spent basically an entire day here diagnosing what exactly was going on and how to best address it. Next, he went above and beyond in performing the work against the worst circumstances left here by the prior owners. This included making sure my new water heater was safe from two adjacent doors which has given me a ton of peace of mind. I have some additional work to do and won't bother to get a quote from another plumber. I've had a lot of contractors work on this house and these guys definitely made me feel like the work on my house was important to them. I really appreciate that.
