It's not easy to find a good plumber in Miami and Jim at General Plumbing is it. I was referred to him, he is polite, explained in detail what had to be done (I was capping off an old bar) and was clean and professional. His charges were very reasonable and he doesn't do that """"book business"""" that several other big companies have gone to and charge a fortune for a simple job. Highly recommend !

BEWARE- These are the most unprofessional and disrespectful pair of people I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. They came to inspect my homes gas vents for my Miami Dade home inspection and wrote a letter that is almost laughable. When our inspector checked their address and their license number he told us that this license doesn't pull up and results and that there's discrepancies with the address. I called to ask for an updated letter and some lady I assume is his wife, was so rude and said we were """"overreacting and are crazy"""" and was just all around condescending and rude. She hung up the phone on me twice. She told me if I wanted an updated letter I'd have to """"come get it then"""" which I did. The letter they provided was no different than the first and I had asked the Plumber, Jim to sign the one I had put together (to save them the hassle of having to do it since they are probably incapable) and he refused to. He went on to tell me I'm crazy and need to get checked out. This is the worst customer service I have ever come across and anyone who gives these shitty humans business needs to do better. Take your money elsewhere to someone who respects you and your business and takes your matters seriously. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PHONEY PEOPLE

General Plumbing is professional prompt and corteous we had a bathtub spout that broke Jim was very honest and resolved our problems and the price was very fair.

At first I was disapointed because the plumber charged me more than what I was told on the phone. I paid in full because I was satisfied with the work they did. When I called the company and spoke to the lady who gave me the initial quote and told her they charged me more than what she quoted me, she told me she would look in to it and call me back. At the end of the day, she called me back and said it was her mistake for quoting me incorrectly and said she would mail me a check for the difference. I am satisfied with the manner in which they handled this situation and will use them again in the future if I need plumbing services.

I had a problem with my shower that required immediate attention and after calling several places I found on Google, I hit the jackpot with Jim Kleb and his company General Plumbing. When I told Jim the problem, he thought it might be an easy fix and tried to explain it over the phone so I could do it myself and he wouldn't have to charge me. How freaking nice is that?!? Unfortunately, I didn't have the necessary tools for the fix. Jim recognized the bind I was in and he was at my place in less than 40 mins and only charged me 1/4 of what the other companies were quoting! I can't recommend him enough!

I have been using General Plumbing for about 20 years in two homes. Jim has fixed everything from toilets, hot water heaters to exterior pipes. His pricing is beyond reasonable & he is ALWAYS professional, courteous, polite and keeps the areas he is working in CLEAN. They are always on time & efficient. Monica is very pleasant to speak with as well. I have reccommended General Plumbing to countless friends. I have gotten estimates from other plumbers (just to do my on due dilligence) and General Plumbing always comes in less expensive. Jim was just here over the holiday weekend and my bill was $140 to fix a leak in the ceiling! The other estimate that I recieved, from another company, was $275 just to do a leak detection without fixing it. I've read some of the other reveiws and I have never encountered any of those problems.

Jim was very efficient. A bit pricey but the repair was done in a timely fashion. He effectively replaced the dysfunctional pieces.

Beware of this company. The installer damaged my faucet during installation and when I called the owner he not only refused to fix the damage but was rude and hung up the phone on me.

Well yesterday I had two appointments for plumbers because our kitchen faucet had low water pressure, the dishwasher was not running and the water heater needed to be checked for possible replacement. Well the first company was late so they were leaving when this company showed up. Upon arrival Jason had a nasty attitude, he came in and I told him the first company said the faucet filter was clogged, before I can mention the dishwasher and heater he said, """"so you called two plumbers""""? I said, yes. He shook his head and waked away to the garage where my husband showed him the heater. At this point I was highly annoyed so I told my husband not to mention the dishwasher, he can leave. He came back from the garage and walked out without saying anything to me. My husband came in and told me he was mad because he stated he came from Kendal and could have given a quote on the phone. Really???? Why didn't they say that when I called? So he can quote me on a dishwasher that was running but no water coming through it without inspecting it? Second, why on the face of this earth anyone think it's okay to not get quotes before purchasing? I'll use the first company, Jason and this company can kick rocks. Downright rude and disrespectful.
