Watch out they send plumbers to cut holes in your wall and leave the hole without fixing it lie and charge $135 to say a floor is wet due to how we shower supposedly we shower with our curtain open and let the shower head pour on the floor to cause puddles of water in another room and the receptionist acts shocked when confronted about it. Absolutely crooked never want this company to step foot in my house again. AND STILL HAVE A LEAK WHERE HE LEFT A HUGE HOLE IN OUR WALL.

I had a small but urgent plumbing problem late one evening and General Plumbing was out the next morning to fix it. The plumber was friendly and professional. Karen in the office was very helpful and the price was exceptionally reasonable. Use General Plumbing and you won't be disappointed. And no, I don't have any social or business connection with this business other than being one of their satisfied customers.

John drove out to Inyokern to evaluate our septic system on a new home purchase. He was responsive, ontime and took a thurough look at the system. He was very personable and quoted us a reasonable price for a new permitted system. He is a strait shooter

I needed my hot water tank replaced and I have a home warranty that I wanted to use. I called these folks and they called back immediately and sent someone out the next day. When the guys were here, one of them came in my bathroom and took the aerator off the faucet, cleaned it out and got that flowing better too. Hadn't called for that, didn't charge me it. This is what I call ""going the extra mile."" When they installed my new hot water tank, which they did in no time, he did my kitchen sink too. Very impressive with GP. Highly recommend and will use them again.

48 hours later, still no response to my voicemail request for a call back. I left my number, but nothing. In the meantime I received 3 bids from other plumbers and my new toilet is now being installed by another firm. If you need plumbing in Lake Isabella, call someone in Bakersfield.

I needed my septic tank pumped and flushed and contacted General Plumbing. I was able to schedule a visit within 2 days. John and his crew called 30 minutes before arriving. I'm happy to say they made an uncomfortable project less intimidating. It cost more than I have paid before, but was done professionally, timely and thoroughly. Highly recommended.

John and his assistant at General Plumbing came out on a Sunday and were super professional and worked really hard and solved our problem. They were awesome and I would recommend them to everyone who needs a plumber.

Ronnie was a life saver. We got a call from our neighbors telling us the a main water pipe has burst(For our home away from home).
Ronnie was there in a flash, replaced new valves, which look amazing, also took care of washing machine issue. Left the place clean and professional. He obviously knows what he is doing.
Thank you so much Ronnie and have a Happy new year

I've hired General Plumbing a few times in recent months to do some repair work on a rental house of mine. Rochelle in the front office is a doll. She's a total sweetheart and seems to be on top of things. Their roving repair man, Ronnie is a godly man who takes pride in his work and is easy to talk with. The owner, John, however, is a total flake. It took weeks just to schedule an appointment with him for a bathroom remodel. He finally showed up to my house and seemed like a nice guy, but trying to squeeze him for a quote and for scheduling the project was like pulling teeth. The last straw for me was when I called with less than 48 hours to the start date to confirm and coordinate and my phone calls were completely neglected. These are common characteristics with the contractors here in the Kern River Valley. As a local contractor myself, I would love to support our local tradesmen, but I simply cannot offer my hard-earned dollars to a contractor who makes me feel like my business is unwanted and my project is insignificant. Looks like I'll be calling companies in Bakersfield from here on out. If you've had similar experiences with local contractors, I would urge you to do the same. We deserve better than to be treated like we don't matter.

We were having problem with our plumbing and figured it was the septic tank. We called another local company who did come out and pump the tank. Two weeks later same problem. I called General Plumbing and upon inspection it turned out it was more than what the original service supposedly found, I cannot say how pleased I am at the work General Plumbing did in a time and money efficient manner. They left not a speck of a mess and my whole yard looks like no one was ever here after alot of digging. Thank you General Plumbing for helping us in our time of need. I will spread your accolades to every and everyone that is in need of plumbing or septic service.
