Called them out to have the water line fixed going from my sink to my fridge. The copper line had a hole. Ok so the hole is close to the wall. Was going to have to cut a small piece of the cabinet to be able to fix. Phil suggested replacing the water valves. Sure why not I figured. Gave me the estimate $550. Are you kidding! There is not even $20 in parts. He said people are usually shocked by their estimate but it was """"Industry Standard"""" I let him know that I felt like he was trying to rob me. REMEMBER...if you don't do the work you still have to pay the $45 for them to come give you the estimate. He did not charge me the $45 because I told him I was going to post this. I figure he was hoping I wouldn't. I knew I was correct. Called another plumber, 1 hour later he was here did the same job for $155. He was only here for one hour. This company must make a fortune and going out and giving over bloated estimates and collecting $45 a customer. SHAME ON YOU GENERAL PLUMBING....

My elderly mom lives in the Lake Worth area and had a plumbing emergency this morning. I do not live in the area and always dread having to deal with these types of issues for my mom. I called General Plumbing after seeing their web site and the phone was picked up by live, human being who took my information down and said she would have a Technician give me a call asap. Within 5 minutes, Darvin called me, got the details and was at my mom's house within an hour. He repaired the problems quickly and professionally. Given some of the poor service we've seen from various trades people in South Florida over the years, I was very pleasantly surprised by the exceptional and fast service provided by General Plumbing. I would have no problem recommending them in an emergency.

Andrew S and Jason did a fabulous job installing 2 new sinks, faucets, freestanding tub and shower fixtures. They handled everything like it was their own. Looks beautiful and cleaned up afterwards!! True professionals!! Thank you General Plumbing!

Although I would have rather not needed services at 3am, I am more than satisfied with the company. Everyone from the supervisor to the plumbers and technicians who showed were courteous and just perfect at what they do! Phil showed up at 3 am to assess a burst water heater and went above and beyond to make the best of the situation. Amy the supervisor kept my family in the loop every step of the way. Even though my landlord was slow to answer calls, they remained patient and did all they could for superior services. Steven came in promptly and replaced my heater with a smile. Will recommend to EVERYONE.
