I needed some new baseboards painted and had a pretty quick turnaround time in mind due to installers needs for the product. Gabriel responded quickly to my request for quote, bid me a fair price, promised and completed the job within my needed timeframe...I couldn't be more pleased!

We reached out to this company requesting assistance with assembling a Gazebo we purchased. He agreed to come on Saturday at 9am. Saturday comes, he text at 8:40 to say he was picking up helpers and would be on his way. 10:45 I called him and he told me that he was finishing another project and could not come until 1 pm. Very unprofessional and in considerate of our time. Poor communication. Would not recommend you wasting your time

Took more than a day to hear back from anyone, then I get four separate responses. I have a minor job replacing some wood trim around my garage door, and on an upper floor window. And that was that. Too busy, ""I might be available in the next week or so"", and I don't do second floor work, ...no response from the fourth.

I hired this company to install a fence after damage from the wind. Gabriel was confident his team could do the work and we signed a contract. The quality of work was subpar and it was obvious he was inexperienced with fence installation. He admitted as much half way through the project when we expressed our dissatisfaction. The contract was terminated part way through the project due to poor quality. Both parties agreed to terminate and he was paid for services completed.

This company might be able to do basic handyman jobs (I do not know from experience). However, I DO NOT recommend this company for fence install or repair.

On February 12, 2021, I contracted Gabriel Mendoza, aka General Handyman Solutions (of Fairfield, CA), to work on my backyard fence and side gate, at the recommendation of my neighbor who ""googled"" fence work. I reviewed Mr. Mendoza's site prior to commencement of work, and the reviews were positive.

I asked Mr. Mendoza if he was able to do the work based on the pictures; he assured me he could. However, after the second day of work, it was obvious he was not skilled to do the work. I asked him three times, and each time he told me he could do the work.

Being frustrated that he was not understanding what I wanted done, I showed my brother, who is an engineer, and is also my handyman, several pictures of the work, and my brother knew he was doing everything wrong. I told Mr. Mendoza to work with my brother, but Mr. Mendoza didn't feel he needed his advice, and told my brother that because he's not the client, he would do it his way, because it's his warranty.

On the fourth day, I knew this was a waste of time and money by keeping Mr. Mendoza on, so I terminated his service.

Even after Mr. Mendoza no longer worked for me, my brother still had problems with the work he left behind, causing more money to be spent and additional labor for my brother.

Mr. Mendoza did not research what was needed to complete this job, properly and cost-effectively.

He lied about his ability to do the work from the beginning, and his work proved that.

He's very sloppy and not mindful of the work conditions; leaving nails sticking out from the wood, and wood panels were cracked because of the wrong size nails used.

If anyone asks me for my opinion of Mr. Mendoza's work and work ethics, I would definitely give him a ""FAIL""!!!
