Our hot water stopped. We have a service contract with them and we're sending out a plumber, electrician and HVAC person. They moved the appt up one day for the plumber ( already was coming for free). He pushed one button. Sat in his truck for 45 minutes then charged us $175!! We can't believe it!! We were totally ripped off and will be cancelling all future services by this scamming company!! I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and need to watch all my spending. This just reeks of being taken advantage of.

Beware....Price gougers! Charged $175 for pushing button on hot water tank to restart pilot. Took tech all of two minutes.
They appear to prey on the senior community.

I hear from others that Comfort Air is a much better choice and customer satisfaction and retention is part of their family business.

Your response is trite. You are price gouging, period. You are taking advantage of people. You could give back fifty percent of your charge and still make PLENTY of money. Your rote response is nonsense compared to that.

Your response about ""rates in the service"" is silly blather. Your plumbers used the same scripted responses when asked about the prices GOUGING prices you were pushing. You take advantage of people and should be ashamed!

I have been a General Air customer since 2007
I have to say I will be looking for another Air Conditioning company to service my unit going forward..
I find them very expensive. Seems every time they come out it is something new that needs to be repaired when the unit works just fine.
They quoted me $503 to repair something and I had someone else do it and it was only $150

The General service technician Tim was very cordial. He listened to my issue and proceeded to diagnose the cause. Finding the cause, he explained it me and proceeded to fix the issue. I was well pleased with the service. It would be a pleasure to have him service my AC and heater anytime

Had them come out to try to get our water heater pilot re-lit. Their service person could not do it and recommended replacement of the water heater. He provided a written quote of $4200 to replace the water heater which was outrageously inflated and tried to pressure me to just accept it. I called other reputable plumbers all of whom quoted less than half that amount for the same equipment/service and selected one who came out immediately and did an outstanding job. I believe General was trying to exploit my situation to try to overcharge me thousands of dollars. Very unprofessional. Avoid at all costs.

We requested a quote from General Air to replace the water heater and kitchen sink facet. The plumber for General Air, Ricardo Alfaro, came to our home and he was extremely helpful. Ricardo took the time to explain what was needed and provided various quotes to select from. He went over details and was very professional. Thank you for sending Ricardo Alfaro to service our home. His customer service and attention to detail is the best!
