I searched Yelp for a small business owner to do some plumbing work in our new home. I found Gene. We have an old toilet that we have decided for now to keep because we love the style. He repaired our toilet and stabilized it and it's not leaking or rocking. After talking with him I understood just how knowledgable he is in everything plumbing...he's awesome!

Gene was amazing. I had a leak in my bathroom sink, which another plumber. not only did not repair properly, but caused a new problem. I thought I would have to replace the two faucets in the adjoining bathroom sinks. Gene came and immediately saw the much simpler solution to fixing the leak. It cost a lot less than replacing the faucets.
Gene was knowledgeable, proactive in saving me money, personable, professional and very fair in his pricing.
I also appreciated his communication skills. Gene called me back almost immediately after I initially called him. He called to confirm his appointment with me and called again 10 minutes before he arrived.
He also assured me that if there was any further problem, that he would come back and take care of it.
I feel I have found a valuable treasure in working with with Gene, and I recommend him highly to anyone who wants top quality plumbing service.

I called Gene Phillips Plumbing for the first time this morning a little after eight to look at a couple of our toilets. When I spoke to Gene he gave me a time window. I explained to him that it would take me some time to get home. He called me 30-40 minutes before he was going to arrive which gave me plenty time to get home. My toilet issues ended up being minor. He did some adjusting all three of our toilets. He did replace a seal on one. Gene was very prompt, respectful and honest. I appreciated how thorough he was and his professionalism. Gene is such a great guy and great at what he does. We had a gas leak by our pool equipment and gene had it detected and fixed as quick as possible( there was a lot of digging and he worked late into the day for us) his pricing was fair and work was exceptional.

We needed to replace our water heater which was a 15 year old Bradford White 75 gallon unit. We called several companies and the prices were all comparable. But when we called,we spoke directly with Gene who was by far he most knowledgeable and comprehensive in his information. All his questions were relevant and he gave us a competitive price in advance he showed up on time and the job was done quickly and professionally. It required more material to properly place the water heater and replace the circulating pump but he only charged us the price he quoted. He left our garage cleaner than he found it! There was an immediate significant improvement in our hot water system. Friendly, professional service from a Master certified plumber. I will never call anyone else.
