We needed to replace our water heater which was a 15 year old Bradford White 75 gallon unit. We called several companies and the prices were all comparable. But when we called,we spoke directly with Gene who was by far he most knowledgeable and comprehensive in his information. All his questions were relevant and he gave us a competitive price in advance he showed up on time and the job was done quickly and professionally. It required more material to properly place the water heater and replace the circulating pump but he only charged us the price he quoted. He left our garage cleaner than he found it! There was an immediate significant improvement in our hot water system. Friendly, professional service from a Master certified plumber. I will never call anyone else.

After calling two well known plumbers that I've used before and explaining to them that I botched what I thought was a simple copper line repair and that my entire house was without water , the response I got from both was we're booked for two days! That's when I called Gene Phillips Plumbing, he too was booked! However he must have heard the desperation in my voice and told me he would somehow find a way to get to me that day! Here is what you want in a plumber: he comes on time; he has the right tools; he has the right parts on his truck; he works carefully; he checks his repairs to make sure they are all correct; his bill is fair. All of those things and more are Gene Philips, master of pluming.

Gene's father was a plumber. It is in his DNA. He has been coming to our home for 14 years. Every visit is perfect. He always has the parts with him. His bills are fair. And he is a very nice person too.

Today he rebuilt two of our four Koehler toilets, replacing the 15 year old parts. He also fixed a leak under a bathroom sink (the trap, that goose neck part, had a small crack. Oh, by the way, he was supposed to come in the afternoon, but he called and said he was free at 10:30 and by noon he was done and my afternoon was freed up.

What more could you want in a plumber? He works alone and does it all himself. He does not leave it to under-trained people. You get a master journeyman plumber.
