I have used Gen 3 for many years. Today Will came out and replaced my wall mounted lights in front of my house. He did a thorough job. will made sure that both lights were working before he left. Will also cleaned up the area and took the crate with the empty boxes and bulbs inside my house for me. He offered to do it. Will also made sure I had the instructions in each box, as well. I really like the way the lights look on my wall. More importantly, I really like that I can trust Gen3 to do the work and do it right. Gen 3 sends out texts when the technician is close by. Will even called me too. I highly recommend Will and Gen 3.

Overall I was pleased with the work. Ed and his assistant rewired the house, except for the kitchen, which had been done a decade before. They asked for my input on where to put outlets and which lights to coordinate to wall switches. Ed answered my questions. They did the work within the scheduled number of days: six days. They cleaned up after working each day. I'd recommend this company and these workmen to others.

Wow, do we regret hiring Gen3. Buyer beware. Hired them to fully rewire a large, old home. $60,000 to replace knob and tube behind plaster walls. Clearly their workers were in over their heads, the company isn't used to large projects, and they took advantage of us being out of state while the work happened.

They stole several beautiful antique light fixtures that were original to the home. They didn't use drop cloths so workers crushed plaster into our 140-year old hardwood floors. They generally did sloppy work - outlets installed upside down in places, light fixtures re-hung far off-center in multiple rooms, unlabeled panels. The project was quoted at 2.5 weeks and took 6 - not because of challenges with the house but because they pulled guys off our project to work others (according to the workers themselves). As a result, our movers had to unload our stuff in the house before Gen3 was done. It was a mess.

Then it was a huge hassle to get them to make things right. Gen3 essentially responded with a shrug. They claimed the stolen antique fixtures were ""discarded"", as if it were routine - but couldn't explain why the workers left a bunch of less-valuable newer fixtures piled in the house and only took the unique antique ones. It took dozens of calls to the office and walkthroughs with staff to get the work completed correctly and compensate us for the purchase of new fixtures. I would be very wary of hiring them for anything, let alone a large project or one for which aesthetics or tidiness matter.

Technician Jeff Schwartz came out to evaluate work and cost of installing a new boiler heater answered any questions that I had to my satisfaction. He informed me of a substance the needed to be removed around the which I was unaware of, I appreciated that. However, upon my review there was another issue that was overlooked as well as it relates to the piping, but I do appreciate Jeff for pointing of the substance issue one the pipe that he could see. He was very professional; I would use this company again.
