My washing machine flooded the garage. I asked my nneighbor for name of a good plumber. He recommended Geers. I called them and they sent a truck over. Im not sure the truck said Geers. The guy, Mike, said theyd use a camera to see the line underneath. After showing me photos, which were not really that clear, he said the laundry line into sewer main drain was blocked by roots and told me it was a big job. He told me about the method called ""boring"" which required making a hole in my front yard and through the concrete in my garage under the washer. Usual cost, said Mike, was about $17,000 but since they had material on hand, he could do me for $10,000. But I had to say yes today; otherwise he'd make the offer to someone else. Being a woman alone, with no time to confer, I regrettably said Yes. He said the work would also clear a kitchen line to the main sewer. Anyway, the very extensive work was done, very efficiently, it seemed. I paid. Turned out the company was not Geers but RSM Plumbing. Friends told me later there were other less extensive or expensive options to ""boring."" Neither Mike nor Don Baker at Geers ever mentioned the options. After the work, I got a receipt online, which stipulated 25 year warranty from RSM. When I asked for some paperwork or guarantee about the warranty, Don Baker said I didnt need anything more. He said if I needed to use the warrant all I had to do was call him, Don Baker personally. Now months later, I feel the whole operaton was highly suspicious. I've got no paperwork from Geers, only from RSM Plumbing (in Rancho Santa Margarita). If I called Geers in 10 years about the warranty, would they have a record of the work RSM performed? Would Don Baker still be there? Most of all, I think Mike was a slick salesman who used high pressure tactics on me. I thought I was working with Geers whom my neighbor recommended. It was all very slippery. Plus, the next week I used my kitchen dishwasher and it flooded the sink area. So the kitchen line was not improved as Mike said it would be. All in all, I would not recommend Geers to any friend of mine.

They found my lost purse and went through a lot of trouble to find me and return it to me with everything in tact and were super communicative throughout the whole ordeal. The young man at the counter (Chris I believe his name) was extremely helpful on both occasions my wife and I came by for parts. He even fixed my pressure washer on the spot! Kudos to Geers and a very special thank you to Chris.

This review is for James. We met James this morning while we were waiting for a different plumber from another company. James happened to be working at our neighbor's place at the time. When we told him about the issue we were having with our plumbing, he volunteered to come in and take a look. Together with our own plumber, they quickly diagnosed the problem. We were impressed with James's professionalism and willingness to help. We highly recommend him.

James came for a minor service, he made it a big deal out of a minor issue and over charged me. Worst of all the problem did not get fixed. I did not want to deal with them again!
I got another plumber who charged a fraction of what James charged me and the problem was fixed, the new plumber I got told me that Geers have a bad name in the business and that I should never use them
I felt James and Geers were very dishonest, an absolute rip off

Complete misdiagnosis of a drain issue by untrained ""plumbers"". They wanted to cut into my custom hardwood floor to correct what they think was a collapsed pipe or charge me $22,000 to reroute the pipe to the outside to the main drain. The issue was a 90 degree bend in the pipe which had a clog, no where near where they claimed it to be. Geers used to be a reputable firm (when KC Nasser owned it) and I realize a lot of people have had great success with them, but not me. So be careful when they send a manager/supervisor out to quote something because it's obvious he's working on getting a big commission.
