My boiler was making some weird noise and it seem like steam was leaking out of a valve. I contacted this agency and was told there is a flat rate of $185.00 to find out the issue and make the correct (may have to pay for parts). The agent came and looked at my boiler and changed a glass piece and replaced a gas valve line/connection. While he was doing it, my father told him that it started to smell like gas since he replaced that part which was new because there was no gas smell before. He said it was normal because he just replaced it. We didn't think much of it as we don't know much about boiler. His total cost was $350.00. I gave $360.00, included a tip. He left his number and said to call if any issue occurs as he is ""my country man"" and he want to make sure all is well. Anyways, throughout the week I realized that the gas smell is still in the boiler room. I was scared and contacted the agent. I explained to him that the gas smell started since he replaced the gas valve wire and it never stopped as I can still smell it when I go in the boiler room. I suggested that he come and check it out to ensure that it was done correctly. Plus I was scared that the house will blow up! He wanted $225.00 (service fee) plus $200 emergency fee to come check the reason for the gas smell although the issue started when he replaced the gas valve line. Being that I no longer trust him as he was only cornered about getting paid and does not seem to care about the fact that my house could have blown up due to the gas leak that started when he changed the line. I contacted national grid and they confirmed that the gas was coming from the boiler, at the same part where the agent make the changes. I hired someone else to come and look at the issue and I was told that the issue was caused by whoever (this company) replaced the gas valve line as they left both screw unlocked allowing gas to come out. This could have been done purposely as he willfully left his number and said to contact him it any issue occurs but when I called him he wanted $425.00 total to come..

To risk the safety of other people just so you can keep a job and get pay is selfish. Worse service ever and I hope no one ever have to go through this. A business that put people's safety at risk will never flourish.
