Have a rental property in need of plumbing repair. My renter was worried that this was going to inconvenience them. Gecko Home Service came out right away and repaired the problem and left the place clean. Thank you for the perfect service.

The plumber they sent out seemed like he's been doing this for years. He was quick and careful not to make a mess anywhere, would use him again if I have any issues for sure.

Gecko was sent by my home warranty company. At first, I was grateful to be dealing with what I thought was a straight shooter, a bit of a strong personality, yes (as others noted here on Yelp), but I really thought still a straight shooter. Turns out I was wrong.
During my entire claim, Gecko was the liaison between me and the warranty company and it was all verbal. Later, when I realized Gecko and the warranty co had misinformed me, I had nothing as proof. Do NOT let this happen to you...
If Gecko is sent out by your home warranty company, be very skeptical about what you're told is ""covered"" vs. ""not covered"" and demand documentation of EVERYTHING or record all conversations.

I regret letting this service person into my home. Gecko was dispatched by my home warranty company for an ""emergency"" service call yesterday yet it took Gecko 20 hours to come out here. (Thankfully I had a home restoration company who was able to help me stop the continued damage) Aside from the delayed response, the man who came was extremely aggressive and rude. Within 2 minutes of entering my home I find myself cornered in my children's bathroom being lectured and yelled at by this man about how children need to be told that toilets are not to be taken for granted. (Mind you, my children are teenagers and the leak was caused by a failed seal on the 30+ year old toilet, it had nothing to do with misuse by anyone) When he recommended the toilet be replaced, without even touching the toilet himself, I quickly agreed and then he proceeded to yell at me about how the last thing he's doing is bringing a catalog over for me to pick one out and if I don't like that I better not call their office or they will hang up on me. I didn't ask to pick one out or give any indication that I didn't want any type of toilet, standard or special. I paid my $70 service deductible so he would leave as quickly as possible and was on the phone with 2-10 home buyers warranty requesting a new company before this man even started his car to leave. I filed a complaint with 2-10, but wanted to put this on yelp too because absolutely no one should ever consider hiring this company.

Gecko was who 2-10 warranty sent out to diagnosis that my water heater was not repairable . He arrived at 3pm took pictures explained the process & left assuring me they would be in contact with 2-10 that day so I could wait 7-10 days to get a replacement. Noon the next day & called 2-10 they haven't heard from Gecko & me sending a copy of a written receipt diagnosis isn't good enough , gecko needs to call 2-10 . Several calls to Gecko with no answer . They never answer their phone . I'm at their mercy with a flooded garage .

Incompetent service man!! My garbage disposal stopped working, it turned on but would not grind up my food. It just stayed in bottom of the disposal, so I contacted my home warranty. They sent out Gecko Home Services. Sam made no effort to diagnose the problem. He said lets put ice in it. So with the ice and the water running it all went down. Of course water melts ice. I guess he was thinking this would sharpen the blades or something. So after the ice we tried some food, and again it just stayed in the disposal. I had to dig it all out with my hand. Sam just said, ""oh that's strange, ok I will submit it to your warranty."" He never made the effort to look at or check anything. A week or so later my warranty company called me and said they had to deny the claim because Sam submitted finding ""NO FAILURES!!!"" Well obviously something is wrong with it if it won't grind up my food!!! So they wouldn't cover a replacement because Sam was too lazy and incompetent to diagnose anything!!! I was furious! After calling the number on my disposal they asked me some questions about what was going on. She asked if the impellers inside the disposal moved about freely. No they didn't. She told me how to loosen those up. Over the phone the problem was diagnosed. Why didn't Sam the plumber know those were suppose to move, or at least check them and tell me??!! Very incompetent to not try to find the problem!! So after fixing my disposal MYSELF it works great! Sam the plumber from Gecko was worthless, and cost me $75 service fee for absolutely nothing!!!!

this company is a fraud!!!!!.. they claim they went out and fixed a pipe thru a home warranty, on a property that was vacant on the exact same day i closed on this property i purchased as a rental...and it never happened and now im wasting hours of my day disputing a charge for something that never happened!!!!!
considering all the negative reviews, i dont know how you can be in business.

I had Gecko come and assess a leak that I already knew was from a faucet line to see if my home warranty would cover the cost of repair. It cost me $65.00, due when they came. I asked if the home warranty would not cover it if would they be able to come out and change out the faucet without any additional charge other than labor and faucet cost. They assured me they could. When I called to schedule, they said they were too busy to accommodate.

The customer service is horrible. The company is extremely difficult to get a hold of. I took a night off work so I could be home. I text them after they did not show up for the appointment. I then called and texted again. Then I get a text, not even a phone call but a text to reschedule for the next morning which is during the time I sleep for work. Based on their customer service and communication skills I would not use them

I wish I could give this company negative stars. This business is a joke. I had an appointment through my home warranty and they stood me up the first time without any communication. I had to reach out multiple times only to be told they had an emergency. TALK TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. I had to take time off of work. Then we rescheduled. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and they stood us up again. They clearly do not care about their customers. What a joke. Find someone else unless you like wasting your time.
