I recently emailed Andy to ask for a quote on a project. He responded and seemed interested in quoting. After some time had passed, I tried emailing him back to check the status of the quote. No response. I tried calling and left him four voicemails. No response. Finally, I emailed some of the other people at Gearhart asking if Andy still worked there? Shortly thereafter, I finally received an email from Andy stating simply that he was ""not interested"" in quoting the project. I understand that things come up, but I feel it is very rude to ignore phone calls and emails from your customers. I will not be reaching out to Gearhart for any future quotes.

I called to make an appointment to service my water heater. The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude. We had a bad connection and she literally was screaming the appointment time to me, in a VERY angry tone. I am cancelling my appointment and working with another company.

Since I purchased my home in 1976, Gearhart has done all of my plumbing, heating, and air conditioning work. I have found them to be consistently professional, thorough, and reasonably priced. I have also purchased a furnace, a central air conditioner, humidifier from them. Just recently I asked them to replace my sump pump system with a more reliable model. I couldn't ask for better service than I get from Gearhart. That's why I keep coming back.

They are always at my house the same day I call in the event of an emergency, all of their employees are kind, respectable of my home, explain what they are doing etc...., prices have always been reasonable, their work is top notch .....I cannot say enough good things about them.

Had a plumbing job I wanted to have quoted at my house. Made numerous calls and emails to attempt to get a quote. I could not get one response from the person responsible for their plumbing estimates. Very unreliable, I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere.

We have always had great experiences with Gearhart. The technicians and administrative staff have been prompt, courteous and knowledgable every time I've been in need of help. I've never felt like I was getting ripped off. Every technician has offered reasonable options, opinions and solutions.

I've used Gearhart twice and both times the work was done properly, the quote was fair and accurate. The only issue I've had is scheduling. I had to call everyday trying to get it scheduled each day saying we'll let you know tomorrow until I finally wore them down. But the workers are friendly and good at what they do.

I'd just like everyone in B.G. to know the business practices of Gearhart Plumbing. My mother in law had to get a plumber out today. She has a pretty major water leak under her trailer. She called Gearhart at approximately 315pm. They said they would call her back in an hour or so. At 630 she still hasn't heard from them so she called them again. Again the same response. 10 o'clock comes along and still nothing. I call for her this time. I spoke to the the girl answering calls and the best word to describe her is BITCH. This time they called right back and told my mother in law they never got the message. I will never do business with Gearhart and I'd suggest you do not either.

Gearheart came through when the $%!+ literally hit the fan! They were able to get our issue resolved in less than 24 hours after contacting them!!! I would recommend them to anyone who has any plumbing issues!!!

if you're a business with a contract with them I'll assume they're great...
as a private citizen I found them to be no help with my problems.
slow, expensive & ineffectual.
they charge an arm & a leg even if they do shoddy work that doesn't help your problem.
all you're left with is a large bill for nothing & they don't seem to care. terrible customer service too.
you'd probably fare better going into plumbing yourself. the classes probably cost less & the amount of time spent at the school would probably be less than waiting around for them to show up.
