No complaints about the service that was performed arrived during the promised window and wore protective clothing. My only problem with this company is that their rate turns out to be twice as much as anywhere else as we learned when we checked later. My mistake! Over $400 for a 45-minute job cleaning out a clogged drain regardless of what some job book says is just too much. Angie's List quotes that job is between 109 to 214 on average.
Not recommended.

My mother here in Lago Vista Texas had GC come out on Monday, March 30th, 2020 to replace an old and leaky outdoor faucet. They had done the same for me a year or so ago for around $200. The GC employee at my mom's place looked at the fixture and then came back and told her it would be $1100.00. My mother is 81 on and on her own now and doing things my dad used to do. She was stunned...but with no knowledge of what a true and honorable cost should be...she signed their electronic work order on a notepad. The job took an hour to an hour and a half...and it was only one GC employee there. I find it hard to believe that a replacement faucet, $70 service call and the time of the GC employee could honorably come to $1100. We have asked for a copy of the work order and receipt. They still have not provided one so that we can verify the work done and its legitimacy. Be careful.

Totally impressed with this company AND Jason, the service rep. that came out and solved our problem. We have been trying to get our contractor to help resolve our tankless water heater issue for two weeks. Contractor's solution was to add a second unit...not cheap...without ever sending his plumber out to investigate. We got frustrated and called GC Plumbing. Not only did Jason identify the problem, he also noticed the system was not hooked up properly to the propane. This presented a huge safety concern. Jason was so thorough and explained everything he was doing BEFORE doing it. Hopefully we will not have any more plumbing issues anytime soon, but when we do we will be calling GC Plumbing and requesting Jason. THANKS JASON!

I've had a grinder pump for 22 years, and had to replace/repair parts numerous times. My last plumbing "service" took me to the cleaners. When my controller panel went toes up on Friday evening, I ran the grinder pump manually several times on Sat/Sun, and on Monday AM, I called GC Plumbing thanks to some online praises I read on FB. CODY from GC on a MONDAY got there within an hour, and went through several phases of service, from the least expensive option (replace a circuit board) to what the situation actually required (a totally new controller board). When I asked him to also install a new weather-tight housing so that what happened when the last company left the door literally swinging in the lake breeze, would be avoided - simple rain and sprinkler water damage. He drove all the way to south Austin and back, and had it installed by only an hour after sunset. If ONLY all trades were as diligent as GC Plumbing and especially Cody. Next time Lake Travis floods and I have to bug-out, THEY will be who I call to remove the electronics so they don't fry out. As I griped initially , my last "go-to" plumbers really took me to the cleaners. These guys just CLEAN UP well. Thanks, Cody, you guys rock. Anyone, feel free to contact me with questions of any technical level. I don't do many Yelp reviews, but when I do it's because I am motivated in either one direction or the other. This is one of the happiest I've ever made.

After being put off by a another plumber for 3 weeks to tackle a lengthy repair list from a home inspection on my new home, I lucked out when I found GC Plumbing Services from a review search. I was scheduled the same day for a visit to look at the work and get a price for everything. Jason was great to work with going over my options and the work was scheduled and carried out the next business day. He and his apprentice stuck with the job until all the repairs were completed in one day, fixing the previous homeowners DIY plumbing. No small task! Because of their professionalism and respectful attitude I was ok with paying a bit more than I would have for the guy who didn't show up. Probably a blessing in disguise because the repairs were done right!

Absolutely great customer service to begin with! Hands down a great job and in a timely manner. Replaced my grinder next day after the initial visit. Left everything in my yard way cleaner than when he found it. Super pumped to recommend these guys, especially Jason! My new plumber for life, and I have several properties! Thank you!

Too expensive and not able to fix the problem! This company charged
$ 380 to have the plumber look under the bathtub and visually diagnose the leak. After the leak was confirmed, the plumber told us that they can't neither repair nor replace the bathtub. After few calls and discussions, this company offered to install new bathtub (simple soaking tub) for
$ 4800!

These guys really helped us out in a bind when our hot water heater crapped out and leaked all over our floors and into the walls. They came out same day, were upfront on work needed and cost, and very speedy on fixing the problem. I had called several other plumbers before finding them and they were more expensive and couldn't get the parts as quick. Jarrod and Cody were very friendly and professional and I will be recommending them to friends and family for plumbing needs. Thanks guys!!

Remodeling contractor brought in Jake from GC Plumbing to fix a punch-list discovery left behind by the original plumber. We started off thinking it was simple -- replace part of the stack under the sink because there were no threads to screw the P-trap to. No. The grinder backflowed uphill. There was a hidden cut in the waste pipe run to the coupling at the back of the cabinet to the stack in the wall. It got complicated. Fast. And the original plumbers will never set foot in my house again. Working with the contractor, we opted to open up the brick wall outside the kitchen to get to the stack. And, there, we discovered the x plumbers used the wrong parts to hook the stack together, violating code. Jake just worked his way through all this with a sense of humor, gloves, and a box of parts, test fitting it all, gluing it up, testing again, making it work. Along the way, I opted to ask him to flush the waste line under the slab because the sink and dishwasher always drained slowly. Out came his crud cutter -- a jet head on a long, thin black hose hooked to a pressure pump. Yup. There was nothing less than a blockage. Long story shorter -- call these guys, ask for Jake, get your plumbing fixed.

At 63 years old, this is by far the worst plumbing company I have ever seen. I called them to come replace a switch in the electrical box for our sewage grinder pump......almost 2 months and $1,000 later, it still doesn't work. In fact, they ruined my grinder pump in the process. Now it will cost at least $2,000 to fix, plus the $1,000 already given to them, and of course they won't stand by their work. Be VERY aware of these clowns!! They have no problem taking your money.
