Gavit Plumbing provides a great service. I've called on Mike several times for plumbing issues. The most recent was to troubleshoot and repair a grinder pump. What impresses me most is that he ALWAYS explains exactly where the problem lies and provides options that best suits your budget. Mike's a straight shooter and you can trust him with your plumbing needs. Highly recommended.

Called Mike, owner Gavit Plumbing, to hook up the propane for my newly installed cooktop. He was able to fit us into his schedule the next day. On time, quick and reasonably priced. Licensed and insured; that's crucial when working with propane.

Mike is great to work with. He's a veteran, former USMC, so support a veteran owned company.

I'll be calling Gavit Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs.

I scheduled an appointment and he never showed up...he picked the time and day he said he was available, after our phone call I texted him the address and confirmed everything through text. I had to take time off my job to be home and he never called or texted me that he wasn't able to show up and when I called him 15 min after our scheduled appointment and texted him he didn't even answer at 1st, when I called a 2nd time a few minutes later he said he wasn't feeling good and had gone home for the day. Which would have been ok if he had just had the professionalism to at least send me a text or call so I would have not had to leave my job early, loose money and wait around for someone who never showed up!
I will never recommend you to anyone!

Mr. Gavit is a lifesaver. Several houses in our neighborhood had burst pipes during the recent winter storm and were without water. Mr. Gavit came out when no one else would, capped our burst pipe, and got our water running again. He helped so many people just in my neighborhood alone. Many other plumbers that we called never even called back. Mr. Gavit is 100% trustworthy and honest and his prices are very fair. Best plumbing experience we've ever had. He's got our loyal business from now on.

As many Texans experienced in February 2021, the winter storm was one of the most devastating events in the state's history. We did everything we could think of to insulate our outside spigots, but to no avail.

Water leaked into our dining room, and we had to unfreeze the leaking outside spigot before we could get a plumber to take a look. We'd heard that all plumbers were booked for at least a month, so we were saved by our friend who had booked Mike Gavit on retainer at the start of the storm.

When Mike communicated with us via text, he said the soonest he may be available was Wednesday (2/24) when we needed him that weekend. He came by sooner than expected, and was able to not only isolate the root cause of the issue (frozen pipes that froze too far into the wall), he was able to get it capped for us at a very fair price.

It has been a week since his service and we are happy to report that our water (including hot) is working perfectly fine throughout the house. To say he under-promised and over-delivered is an understatement - he literally saved our lives!

Mike is a really great guy!! Called him to ask about fixing some kitchen and bathroom faucets and he was able to come the same day and get them all taken care of! He even called the next day to make sure everything was running smoothly. Would definitely recommend if you have any plumbing issues !

I've hired Mr Gavit on two occasions. His prices were fair and his second job actually cost less than what he had originally quoted. Can't beat that. I plan to call him the next time I need plumbing service. Good guy and an honest business man.

After searching for an honest plumber - I finally found one. I'm so thankful that a friend connected me with Mike @ Gavit Plumbing. Mike was able to speak with me over the phone to discuss our issue and provide a timely site visit to inspect further. We had received quotes for $1,600 and $800 for a minor gas leak (fireplace valve and dryer value) that needed to be replaced. Mike was able to inspect our situation, and provide a quick (1 hr) solution in repairing the original value from 1976 for the cost of a service visit + parts. He was able to pressure test the system and inspected for leaks. We are now leak free! In a world where there are so many dishonest and unqualified people - I will be sticking with Gavit Plumbing for any and all plumbing needs in the future.

Can't say enough good things about Gavit Plumbing. He's the only person I let touch my pipes. Lol and yes I say that in front of my hubby. I've used him on 4 different properties now.
