So, I have to say first and foremost, that Greg is amazing! After calling around and reading review after review for several plumbers, Greg is the one who scored my business. When he arrived, looked at my sink, in which the disposal has not worked for I have no idea for how long as I recently moved in. When I explained this, and how it does not drain well, and gave me an estimate, he by far the most reasonable. So I hired him on a Friday afternoon, and he came out first thing Monday morning. He was pleasant, professional, efficient and quick. He truly does stand by his work which is rare these days. If I ever have any plumbing problems, he will be the one I call. I would highly recommend him to everyone!

First, I owe Greg this long due review for the quality of work he had provided me the past 2 occasions that I needed plumbing help. He has been genuine, transparent, and extends over and beyond the work within the scope of his job. He does not over charge, over commit and under deliver. Greg is the man. I got to know him through yelp and Due to my other plumber that flaked on me and thank god he did. Greg stands by his work. He goes above and beyond to satisfy its customers. I have had two works with Greg so far.
I own a rental property in Whittier. Leaky galvenized drain pipe under the kitchen. Greg wanted to come the same day thats how much he cares about his customers while other top rated yelp plumbers were not answering their phones and thank God they did not.
There was puddle of water under the house, gnats were everywhere. Greg had to get the restoration guy to make conditions workable for him. which is totally reasonable as I did not either want him to drown lol since he told me he could not swim. Anwayz the cleanup guy did great job and Greg went in there the following day replaced the busted pipe with black pvc pipe. However greg also discovered more leaks further along the old pipe. He told my tenant that he will be back tomorrow to replace extra section of pipe. I would like to mention that This was extra work for Greg which he did not charge me anything for it. Since he did not want me to have more problems in future.
Greg went above and beyond to meet my expectations because he cares about his job and customers. He does not upsell stuff and his rates are beyond resonable.

I had a leaky grabage disposal ( twice in last 3 montha)called Greg and I asjed for his recommendation on Which one to buy. He instruted me to buy a really good machine , He came and took his time and did a phenominal job putting the new disposal with beyond resonable rates. His rates are realistic and gives free estimates.. His attention to detail, craftsmanship is next to none. Again, he gives you warranty and stands behind his work. Call Greg and you will see. So I NEVER write reviews but I'm so shocked and pleased that I knew I had to share. We just moved into our new home and what do you know our shower drain clogs. I found this plumber on yelp, gave him a call he was friendly set up a time even though it was late at night for us and he came by exactly on time. He very quickly resolved the clog and he gave us an UNbeatable price. Now a days good fair people are rare to come by. He could've easily charged anything and it would've been okay because he was so quick to fix the problem and came late to accommodate us. Honest hard working people still exist! We found our new plumber and we are telling everyone we know of him. Thank you so much!

We had a leak in our kitchen sink piping and I was desperate to get a plumber quick. After a number of calls to a plumber nearby (First 2 didn't pick up nor called back) I got in touch with Greg. He was very courteous and have offered to come by in a few hours.

Greg showed up and here I see this big friendly yet very professional guy who took a quick look at our set up and was able to explain what was wrong and what can be done to fix it. He was able to redo the bad piping that our house remodeler did a MickeyMouse job on. Explained the entire process and why the previous job failed. Then he rooted the pipes to clear the stoppage and a clean professional looking job all in less than an hour!

I have used other plumbers in the past that costed more, took longer and was no where as friendly nor cared to explain what and why. I am very impressed with Greg's workmanship and will definitely go with him again. Thanks Greg for 5 Star service.

Prices for plumbing these days seem to be outrageous, and especially when you are on a fixed income. Greg with Gava's Rooter was truly a Blessing. His price to clear our main line was very fair. It was a Monday about 1:15 p m when I called and he was busy, but found time to get to me. He solved our problem and was prepared in case there was further problems. He is a Keeper and will definitely use him again. I know when I was looking for a plumber I was reading reviews and it help me find someone I can trust.

I don't normally write reviews unless I feel strongly about a business, but Greg at Gava's Rooter is amazing so I thought I'd share my experience.

It was the night before Thanksgiving and my entire household was making different foods for our 'friendsgiving'. I'm pretty sure my potato skins in the garbage disposal was the last straw, but basically our whole thing clogged up on both sides and was flooding out of our dishwasher. On top of that, our sink is connected to the neighbor's sink so their water was coming up through our side; imagine the panic we were having when all this water kept coming out of nowhere.

Anywho, we got a quote from another company on Yelp and they were going to charge us holiday prices up to around $175 which was crazy and even their 'regular' prices were around $105 so we said we'd check around for more. I called up Greg on the day after Thanksgiving (which still some companies consider a holiday???) and he was available same day. He texts (which is real convenient since I prefer text) and he arrived perfectly on time.

Not only was he super friendly, he fixed our entire sink really quick, showed me the problem of what caused the clog, and even gave me tips on what brands to buy from the store for safer degreasing methods that are less caustic to our pipes. And on top of that, his price was significantly lower than the other company's ""regular"" pricing. He even accepts cash, credit, or check so you have a nice amount of options for payment.

So all in all, he was quick, efficient, informative, and very affordable. He swears by customer service, and his dedication shows in how he works and interacts with the customer. If you're looking for a plumber, I swear just call him up and you won't be disappointed.

Now if only other companies (like automotive) operated like him, the world would be a better place hahah

We just found our new plumber! My mom had a bathtub drain that had been stopped up for a while. We tried using a snake ourselves, but it just didn't unclog the drain. Within a few minutes Greg unblocked the drain. He was very efficient, knowledgeable, methodical, courteous and extremely kind. We will be using his plumbing services exclusively in the very near future for other projects.
