I had 4 family members staying with us downstairs and the toilet cracked. It was usable but the toilet was unsteady. The only other bathroom was upstairs in our master bedroom. I called Gauthier's Plumbing and they came out the very next day, on time and for a decent price. My home is 10 years old and things started wearing out. Gauthier's has been to my home approximately 7 times this year. The employees are courteous and professional and quick. They do an awesome job every time. And Chris, who answers the phone in the office, is so kind. Thanks guys for making our home new again.

My former plumber retired, so I looked online for a plumber in the area and found Gauthier's. Checked out the yelp reviews, and gave them a call. Needed an emergency toilet repair yesterday and spoke to someone in the office who said a plumber would call me back. True to what she said, I got a call from ""Howie"" within a couple of hours. They offered to come that afternoon, but since the time wouldn't work for us, they offered to come the next morning and said they'd call me first thing with an arrival time. True to his word, Howie called early in the morning and said they could arrive in 1/2 an hour. Every step of the way, this company was polite, agreeable, understanding, honest....what more can I say. They were great people to work with. Solved the problem before noon, and we're back in business. I highly recommend them.

My review is pertinent to my initial experience with Greg, we could not work it out in the end due to the made and model of the Water Heater that I had set my mind at but the experience with him make me give him a call the next time I need assistance with anything plumbing and heating.

So, a leaking water heater is what my story is all about and it started with my colleague recommending him [he was very please with Gauthier's service last March]

I wanted an AO Smith [GPVT-50 LP] to replace my leaking State Water Heater, now Greg's team do some of these installs but primarily Bradford White make water heaters, he still listened to why I was so picky and went ahead and tried to find me one. In the meantime, we had a little mis-communication and his team was at my doorstep at 7:45 am as promised with a different capacity water heater and this being the 3rd day of no hot water, I was not please... Greg listened again, his team had already started cutting the pipes and after I refused to continue... They without making a facing or saying a work, put in the necessary precautions to avoid water or gas leak, cleaned the place and left.

Bottomline, good people to work with.

This is a mixed review. The response time and work was not a problem, however I suggest getting an estimate before okaying the work. The two men were at my house for a total of 45 minutes and successfully unclogged my kitchen drain. For the time spent, no parts or chemicals used I expected a charge of say $100-$135. The charge was $265. That works out to about $352 per full hour of labor.
I admit that it is my fault. When I called at 9 a.m. I asked the gentleman what their rates are, but he didn't know. I presume now, he was from an answering service and when the Gauthier employee called back to tell me he was on his way, I forgot to ask the same question. Lessons learned, ask the necessary questions first, and don't call this company back again for any job.

Really helpful on the phone, prompt service and highly skilled plumbers!! Replaced an old, worn out shower lever for me very quickly. Also installed a new bathroom faucet and the internal piping. I would recommend Gauthier's Plumbing & Heating highly. Thank you.

Can't really give an accurate vote of this company because i have called 6 times in the past month to have work done, every time has been told a service man would call me back and have never received a response. Must not need the work.

We had a water line start leaking and flooding our basement. We rent and informed our landlord who advised us to call Gauthier since they were the company that put in all of the plumbing for this house. This is the third time in two years that we have had problems with pipes/piping (that they installed less that five years ago!!)
Gauthier never called us back. They never called the owner back. Four messages and no response.
I guess thay are tired of fixing their mistakes. Even though they charged a healthy fee
to fix these mistakes.

So the owner called Garabedian plumbing and they responded immediately.

How do these guys stay in business?
