Founded in 1964, Gateway Supply Company is among the largest privately owned supply houses in South Carolina. In April 1964, Sam Sr., Jerry Munn, and Richard Moore founded Gateway Supply Company, Inc. As veterans in the plumbing supply industry, these three individuals sought to establish a superior plumbing supply house, focusing on outstanding customer service and consistent inventory availability.

Although all the original founders have since passed, Gateway Supply now employs 154 committed individuals. Under the guidance of the company's second generation and the emerging third generation, Gateway Supply continues to uphold the vision set forth by its founders over 50 years ago.
