Gateway Rooter did a TERRIFIC job with our repair. We have an old bath where the knob came off, which prevented us from turning on/off the hot water. We got five quotes, and Gateway Rooter was very reasonable and most importantly, efficient. Nick went out right away and searched at 5 different stores for the part (not many places make parts for our old-style bath, which a lot of plumbers told us). Nick was reliable, honest, and communicated well, explaining the issue clearly and what our options were. He was reasonable with his assessment, while other companies told us we had to knock out a wall and install brand new pipes or just plain didn't know how to solve the issue. Nick was the most reasonable out of the 5 plumbers we had look at the issue.

Nick and Nick came to our house to do a job replacing a sink faucet and adding an under sink filter.

After estimating the job and looking at the equipment we had purchased, they said they had to run out for a part.

They never came back. They didn't answer our calls or texts. We have no idea what happened and hope everyone is OK, but the job didn't get done and we were left waiting around for a full work day.

I was more than impressed by Nick and his son. His price was competetive. He went above and beyond what I expected. As he was working, I mentioned my kitchen sink drains slow and would he be able to snake it. I fully expected to pay a little more for the extra task. Not only did I not pay more, his price ended up being less than his estimate which he could have easily charged me the full estimate. But this review isn't only about the savings. I was going to write a positive review about these guys anyway for their professionalism, prompt service and just being nice guys, but the topper was charging less than what he could have. It's always risky finding good people. I'm glad I chose Nick and his son. (I didn't get his name)

Father and Son team! They save my day. I took chances it was a Saturday afternoon 4:00 pm my sink was overflowing and the dishwasher and to top it off it was raining! But I used the job request here in Yelp which is an awesome idea. I have about 3 replies but the first one was not available then Gateway Rooter replied and I then I was on the phone with the father team. At around 6:00 pm they were in my home. They did an awesome job including clean up. They will give you estimates prior to them coming over. Will for sure use Gateway Rooter and I recommend them. Thank you!!!!

Nick did a great job relocating a gas valve in the kitchen! Quick, efficient, professional, great job overall! Nick was on time, personable, knowledgable and also fixed an issue with my backyard hose fixture.
