i am so grateful to have found Gateway Rooter, i had several back ups with my drains and have called many plumbers to come and unclog the main sewer which they charged me over $800 each time to come out so i decided to try gateway and Nick came out and cleared it and on top of it he even provided me with a warranty so if it backed up again within 90 days he would come out again one more time without charging me, he even provided me with some recommendations. thank you so much Nick

This is our second time calling Nick from Gateway Rooter and Plumbing and honestly, he's outdone himself.

The first time was for a completely blocked kitchen sink drain. He came out, accessed the plumbing, snaked and jetted the line, and an hour or two later, we were back in business.

A couple months ago, we had a mysterious sewage smell coming from our kitchen sink drain. We tried all the usual fixes (call the landlord, pour various solutions down the drain for a few days straight, etc.) but had no luck. The landlord called in a plumber, who thought it might be the sewage line, so they jetted from the house out the main line to the sewer. Then they also replaced the plumbing directly under the sink.

Unfortunately, the small was relentless, so we called Nick. He took a look at the lines, checked the p-trap, tried some solutions, replaced a drain at the sink level, and told us if it persisted, give him a call and he'll come back out to jet the line. About a week later, it was clear the smell was still there and maybe stronger than before.

Nick came back out, jetted the line, adjusted the plumbing under the sink for a better drain angle, and shortly thereafter, the smell was gone. It turns out there was some severe build-up in the line due to the previous plumber's install job. The gases produced were apparently strong enough to bypass the p-trap and take over our kitchen.

All throughout this ordeal, Nick checked in via text to see how it was going and he followed up a week after the job to make sure the smell had stayed gone. His fees were very modest for the amount and quality of service he provided. We'll definitely use him again in the future and be more than happy to recommend him to friends and family.
