Had Gaspars plumbing over at my office to rooter some toilets. They were here within 15 minutes and their pricing was reasonable. I will use them again in the future!

Gaspar came out to my rental and was several hours late. He kept saying he was there when he wasn;t and finally arrived near the end of the day. He was unable to tell me what the problem was, but instead kept telling me all the things wrong my prior plumber did, all the while unable to resolve the problem for which he was called. When he finally took a look at it, he was not able to tell me the cost, but said he would provide an estimate which he said would take 3 days to repair, and that he would have to tear up the concrete, my brick work and cut off water for 3 days. His estimate was about $4800. I got a second opinion, found another company who was able to fix the problem within 4 hours at a cost of less than $500. Plumbers like this are a reason to get second opinons.
In response to your comment Gaspar you never cleared the line, and you just gave me an inflated estimate. I had two other plumbers come in to look at it and neither was as expensive as your estimate, and neither one had all the complications which you said there was, and neither one bad mouthed my former plumber. You were just fishing for a customer, Luckily I found a great plumber from the experience which was not you.

Gaspar has been our plumber for many years. With a 60 year old house, we have had our share of plumbing problems. He has done many jobs for us -- including a new tank less water heater, replacing pipes, replacing and/or fixing toilets and leaking faucets. We could always count on him to fix the problem as soon as possible and to do a good job.

Since Gaspar is also a general contractor, we recently hired him to remodel our kitchen. Although it did take longer than expected (doesn't remodeling always have delays of one kind or another?), we were very pleased with the outcome. We have received many rave reviews from our family and friends on our new kitchen.

I was getting a loud vibration from my pipes whenever I use the faucet. I initially used a different plumber who couldn't solve the problem even though they were highly reviewed on Angie's list. A friend of mine recommended Gaspar's, who showed up on the same day and said that I needed a pressure regulator installed even though the previous plumber specifically said that houses in my neighborhood did not need one. The price they quoted was cheaper than anybody else's, and they were able to come back two days later to get the job done. I also asked them to replace all three of my toilets with higher quality ones while they were at it. They recommended the brand that works the best, and the parts and labor estimate they had for that job was also cheaper than anything else I could find. When it was time to do the jobs, they showed up on time and finished everything quickly. The vibration in my pipes are gone and my new toilets work great. I could not have hoped for a better experience.

Gaspar and his assistant came out promptly after talking to them on the phone. We were so happy they were available to come the day after the 4th of July to unplug our main drain!

My experience is a whole lot different than the previous poster.
I say that they are the most professional plumbing business around. They drove all the way to my area in Westlake Village, CA to fix some plumbing problems in my house that I've been having a problem with for years. The service was great, very friendly staff, punctual and on time, and SATISFACTION GUARANTEED! I will definitely recommend them!

I've known Gaspar since 1986 when he first took my mom's call to fix a plumbing leak late one night that made a mess in the bathroom. We later learned from him that, at the time, Gaspar was pretty new to the field of plumbing. We would not have been able to know, however, because he showed nothing but confidence, a great attitude, and a professional skill set that knocked the job out quick enough for us to get back to sleep without worries and to have a full night's rest. He even left it cleaner than it was when he got there! He topped all that with a price that my mom confirmed was extremely fair for the work that he did.

Over the next several years, we'd occasionally have plumbing issues in our old house and pulled Gaspar's number out of the Rolodex. He always remembered us by name and was personable and attentive enough to surprisingly recall a little factoid about what we'd told him we were up to during light conversation from his previous visit years before.

Over the years, Gaspar has done so many plumbing jobs for me and all of my separate family members at our respective homes: repair on bathroom and kitchen leaks, valve replacements, copper repiping, spinkler system repair, tankless water heater installation, he even did the plumbing from scratch at my sister's new home.

Why have we stuck with the same plumber over so many years and continued to refer him to everyone we know could use a plumber? And why would I write such a lengthy review for just a plumber? Put aside for a minute that Gaspar has fair pricing, that he is a consummate professional that fully knows what he's doing, has never had a call back by any one member of my family or circle of friends, always leaves the work area clean, and does his work efficiently. Put that all aside to just focus on this one key piece:

No matter what the state has been of the local economy, Gaspar's business has succeeded and continued to grow over the years BECAUSE of the way he treats people, not in spite of it. Gaspar is the kind of guy with whom customers have comfortably entrusted the keys to their house while on vacation...I say that not as a hypothetical, but as something that some of his customers have actually done! I know it's hard to come by someone as authentic as Gaspar, but when you do as I did, hold on to them like gold.

My toilet valve burst and would not stop running.

I rang up Gaspar, due to my emergency situation I was somewhat agitated and slightly incoherent. Thankfully, Gaspar was calm. He put me at ease and said he would be right over to handle my problem.

Mind you, I called him up late late on a Sunday Easter night, going into a Monday morning at 1:30am! Gaspar did not take advantage of the situation nor did he attempt to rip me off.

Needless to say, that I can attest to his pleasant demeanour, and his friendly mannerisms. In a world filled where plumbers and mechanics will take advantage of emergency situations, Gaspar is one whom you can feel confident about calling.

I recalled afterwards that part of why I picked his name out of the others was that luckily for me once before I called him up in an emergency situation and he solved yet another urgent plumbing problem about 8 years earlier.

And, now my toilet has stopped running! He replaced the valve and the float and the other working parts.

Thanks Gaspar! I can rest easier!
