Started in 1968 by my father in the Poconos area of PA, NY and NJ. Jankowski Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. I expanded our services and trades. After relocating my family to Florida in 2004, I had to start fresh and join a Plumbing and Mechanical Contractor to fulfill the state's 4-year requirement by Florida law before taking the state exam.

We built our reputation in 2005 as Volusia Gas and Welding Company and rebranded as Gas, Plumbing & Mechanical Systems, Inc. in 2008 when I received my initial state license; State Master Gas Installer License # LP803-27524. I earned my State certified Plumbing license in 2010. I’ve been involved in the gas industry since 1983 and the Plumbing trade since I was able to carry tools for my dad in his plumbing business. I have experience in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration trade for about 14 years.

Well, I thought I didn't wish to be involved in Plumbing anymore, so I signed up in the US Air Force prior to graduating in 1982 under the delayed enlistment option...my father was thrilled about the old man, I tell you. I hoped to see the world and uphold the family legacy to serve the nation. I completed my service overseas in England up until 1986 and came back stateside to Homestead, FL up until 1989. I found my wife in the service, and we settled to Upstate NY, where we lived and began our family. I went to work for one of the largest gas suppliers in the country as a gas technician and installer. We spent those years in the scenic area in the Northeast. The winters became too harsh, so we relocated back to Florida. I always aspired to run my own business, so this is where we are now. Locally owned and operated.
