Based on our excellent experience last time I called Gary again, and I was not disappointed.

Note: my last review of Gary's Plumbing was more than a year ago. When attempting to write this one, Yelp somehow reposted my old one. Oh well.

Gary and his son are professionals, but not only that, they leave the work site as if no work was ever performed. Spotless. Price is more than reasonable.

I will definitely call Gary again if another plumbing job is needed.

Scheduling is easy. You call the service, the lady takes your number and Gary shortly calls you back asking if you still need a plumber. After a description of the job and a text message with pictures Gary provides a quote. On one of the three items Gary said he will not know until he sees the issue. We agreed Gary will quote on the spot. Gary has a flexible schedule, in my case it was not urgent, and we set a date and time.

Shortly before the appointment I received a call telling me Gary is on his way. At the appointment time, not a minute early or a minute late, the doorbell rings. Gary and his son are at the door.

I had two faucets (Moen for life) to replace and that odd third job I mentioned. Gary and his son got to the faucets right away. The job was done perfectly. One of the faucets required more work, all was done quietly and swiftly.

After the faucets were replaced Gary and his son got a vacuum cleaner and some rags and left the work area at both faucets spotless. Probably cleaner then it was before.

Gary looked at the third item, and said there is some risk. We both agreed it is not worth it, and I thought I would leave it as is. Later, between Gary and myself and idea popped up. Gary thought it is worth a try and went to get a replacement part. By now you know it is needless to say the third job was completed as well, again, perfectly done.

I asked Gary how much would the third one cost and Gary said, just pay for the part.

The whole job was reasonably priced to begin with, and complete with in 2-3 hours.

I am pleased with Gary and his son's work. Upon leaving, Gary was so thorough, that he took all of the old faucets with him, and the packaging of the new ones, nothing left behind.

I strongly recommend Gary and his son, and will cal them again if a plumbing job is required!

Once again Gary has been reliable and provided excellent service. My parents had a water pipe burst due to the cold weather. I called Gary and he responded quickly and took care of it. My mom asked him to fix two other plumbing issues while he was at our home too. Gary has been the most reliable plumber I've had experience with, usually other companies take too long to respond or just difficult to deal with. I would definitely recommend him.

I have a house in Canton, MI. Gary came to fix my burst pipe and looked at my sump pump. Good honest guy, said nothing was wrong with my sump pump running continuously. Was just excessive water from melted snow, could have charged me $ and I wouldn't know not necessary. He double checked his work and took photo for me.

If you need a plumber in this community of Plymouth/canton, you need to go to this wonderful guy! He's not out to charge you without any sensitivity to your situation. In fact, he didn't want to charge us for a few things that I thought should have!! . He's a good guy and because of that will get repeat business from us forever. Honest, polite, communicative by either phone or texting. This is exactly the kind of plumber that we were looking for. I don't know if it's fair to say this, but it's true: old country plumber! Not some big business with lots of trucks who doesn't care at all about you.

By the way, did I say that he knows his stuff? Well, needless to say, he's excellent.

Gary just came over to fix a leak in my upstairs bathroom. He was on time, completely courteous and professional, and even cleaned up after! I will be using Gary again in the future with any of my plumbing needs, 5 stars!!!!

As a realtor who deals with bank owned homes, property management, and regular residential resale, I deal with service people and trades often. After reading reviews, researching, and calling multiple numbers, I received a few calls back. I will say that some were less than friendly, some were outrageously priced, and some were both of these. Gary called back the next day, and was at the house within an hour due to a cancellation in his schedule. His price was very fair, his attitude was friendly, his work was efficient, and he cleaned up after himself! That is always a big part of the job. I'd definitely recommend him again.

We live in Canton and have a Shellback pump that needs to be replaced. I initially called a big brand company in Plymouth""Cummings Plumbing"" to assess the problem. They said we need to replace the pump and total cost with installation is $875.00. I called Gary's plumbing for a 2nd price quote. I was shocked by the voicemail I received that said the city of Canton installed these pumps 20 years ago and will probably replace it and/or remove it for free. Now...I'm a nurse and plumbing is 0% my forte. This man is honest and has integrity. For any future plumbing needs, skip the name brand companies and utilize Gary's Plumbing. I have written down his contact information and if we have ANY future plumbing needs I will use this company. Honest people are hard to find!

I have had Gary replace my hot water heater, a toilet, faucets inside and outside, and an insta-hot. Today he replaced my sump pump. He has an answering service and Gary calls back within a day unless it is an emergency. He arrives on time, quotes the price, cleans up afterwards. Very pleasant guy who does reliable work. Cost is much better than the big companies.
