Gary contacted me to say Kody and Jacob were on their way and arrived on time to replace my shower valve. They were wearing their Covid masks and booties and brought the correct part needed. Kody was the main plumber and was totally professional in his skills and explained the process to me as he performed the repair. Their communication was excellent and the price was fair. Kody represented Gary's Plumbing with the highest integrity and professionalism. I would highly recommend this plumbing business for any repairs and I am telling my friends. Mon. Dec 21- Gary quoted me price of $295 labor and parts to repair dripping mixer valve in tub. Said he'd be here Wednesday 10-1 with 30 min heads up.

Wed. Dec 23- I called them at 1:00. Kody said he couldn't come until later that afternoon. Rescheduled for first thing Thursday morning.

Thursday Dec. 24 - Kody came and fixed dripping mixer valve in tub. Charged $340.

Monday Jan. 4 Couldn't turn water off in the tub. Gary said Kody would call before he came that afternoon to fix it. Kody showed up (without calling) and fixed it. He said it was a part that was missing a screw. He drained the hot water tank and replaced the anode rod. Charged $25.

Wednesday Jan.6 - No hot water.

Thursday January 7 - Gary came and using an extension cord, plugged in a temporary small tank so I'd have hot water.

Friday January 8- Gary said that it could either be an electrical problem or a
problem with the tank. Said that I needed an electrician to install an independent switch to the hot water heater before he could work on it ""to not worry about electrocution.""

Scott the electrician called and scheduled an appointment for Monday.

Saturday Jan.9 - I cancelled the job.

(The job was done by a different plumber. Didn't need an electrician.

Shady ass plumber. Sold us on replacing a valve that could have stayed on until we replaced our water heater. Had to him change it upon his recommendation and ends up causing it to leak at the water heater and new connection. After the job I could tell something was wrong when he kept checking the job. But after wiping off the problem and hoping I would not notice and try to cover up the hack job by writing on invoice that I have to replace another part. Sounds familiar? Like a short mechanic stringing you on for more money. And that's exactly what he did, asked for more money. Contacted him to come back out to fix problem he created, not a peep!! Should have know. Be for warned use this guy at your own risk. Used him on a friend's recommendation now I'm out 500 bucks and now looking to have to replace water heater earlier than needed, but definitely not going back to him for that service.

We can't say enough good things about how Gary owner of Gary's Plumbing helped us out over the years. We have used him for the following problems; a pin hole leak from our upstairs bathroom dripping into our downstairs kitchen, kitchen sink faucet replacement, water heater replacement, a pipe leak in our garage, new bathroom faucets and replacing all old water hoses under all of our sinks. Our latest issue was a partially clogged toilet drain that he told us what to do first to see if we could clear ourselves and it was magic. This company is very professional, always on time, does an excellent job, fair prices and always returns our calls in a timely manner. We highly recommend Gary's Plumbing.

I would give you 0 stars if I could. Not only did you show up, cut a whole in the ceiling only to not detect the leak and leave, but Gary is beyond disrespectful and his customer service is trash. We brought in another plumber after Gary left.. he found the leak in 2 minutes, 1 inch away from where Gary cut. The lack of effort yet eagerness to get paid was astounding. A business isn't a business without proper customer service, consider that the next time you tell a client to shut up. Put your money in honest business, not this.

Review is for Gary's work today...prompt arrival to perform emergency work on a leaking regulator, knowledgeable and competent, very cordial and considerate when in our home.

Clean bill of work, contractors background checked out clean, and above all -- delivered results. Pricing commensurate to local area, parts, and labor required. Fixed issue within 2 hours.

Hopefully unnecessary but would use again in future.

Have used Gary three times for plumbing issues. In each circumstance either he or one of his employees arrived within 30 minutes of the time promised, explained the best solution to our problem and then gave a fair quote and stayed within the price promised.
