Really gone downhill since son took over. Have used Gary's twice - the first time the father did the work, and while a little expensive, did a very thorough job and highly experienced.

However, the second time, the son had taken over and was inexperienced at that time - 2015, but has bothered me all this time! He had to call his dad to figure out what to do - no problem with that but I got charged for all his time. Ended up decent work but WAY overcharged - over $500 for replacing a shower drain from the basement.

So thankful Donald and his coworker came last night. they were very professional, wore full respirators when near me. solved flooding issue in my back yard that has been going on for over a month with literally 5 other people failed to find the leak (it was admittedly hard to find). was about $150 per hour plus parts.

We received the best service from this company! We had several other top name plumbing companies come out to our office prior to calling Gary's, and none of them could find our water shutoff. They told us to give them a call back when we were able to locate it and they would be able to fix our problem. Gary's sent Donald out, and he went above and beyond to find our water shut off and found it! Amazing customer service, we will be using Gary's Plumbing from now on.

I really wanted to give them 5 stars but I want to be honest. First of all their customer service is amazing. Super nice guy that came. Even showed us how to fix our broken pipe. BUT, total rip off when it comes to price. I was charged $465 to get our drainage unclogged. $150 for the first hour, and $90 for the second drain.. let me start off by saying that 75% of the time he was here, he was trying to fix his machines. He had to add wd40 because the snake wouldnt get going, he had to CREATE some heads to attach to the snake, he had to smack some long stick to put it down the drain, he spent most of his time in his van gathering tools, or making tools. I was totally robbed. The man I spoke with said it should take about an hour to unclog a drain as long as there is no major issue like broken pipes (which we didn't) the guy spent 2 HOURS snaking the street because ""he wasnt sure if he was hitting something in the main sewer, or if it was just a curve"" well the whole time my shower and kitchen sink was still clogged. well guess what, when I told him that it wasnt getting unclogged and I think he should do it from the drain from the kitchen sink, he took the machine back there and guess what, IT UNCLOGGED !!! Within 15 minutes everything was fixed!! I was charged 2.5 hrs plus an extra 90 just to hit the inside drain. Might be worth calling a big company with newer working machines. I've literally had nightmares and stomach aches about paying almost $500 to get my drains unclogged. Also, FYI you can rent a snake at homedepot for $75 (4hrs) . Wish I would of known earlier.
