Gary was great to work with throughout the entire repair process. You will not be disappointed with the service. Nice man and very knowledgeable. And his wife, who answers calls and returns messages, is also very friendly. Normally, Gary does not work on weekends, but he made an exception for my circumstance. In the unfortunate case of a plumbing debacle, please use Gary for your needed service.

We were fortunate enough to find Gary's business. The day after Christmas while visiting my son, we had a clogged sewer line and have more family coming this upcoming weekend. I was worried we wouldn't be able to get a plumber out during the holiday week. I called Gary's business and they were able to come out the same day and fix the problem.

If you are looking for a locally owned plumber that does good work look no further than Gary Horton. I'm a huge proponent of supporting small local businesses, and it's been harder to find companies in the service industry like this. Most are the big guys that are either owned by an investment group, etc that don't really take pride in the work and try to squeeze you. Gary's wife Darla books the service appointments and she is a delight. She provided me with a great referral for an independent electrician I would have not otherwise found on my own.

Gary came out to look at out leak we had puddling in the living room, we thought it was a slab leak due to water puddling up on the outside of the island. Come to find out it was a slow leak from the dishwasher. And we got things underway to get it all cleaned up and fixed. Thank you for being honest and trustworthy. Worst contractor I have ever worked with. He overcharged me for very poor workmanship. Didnt install the water heater to code(no drip pan or expansion tank) he didnt bother to notify me that he changed our plans for the work until after he had done it. The shower I paid for him to install is damaged and doesnt even get hot. When I called upset about him leaving all of his garbage materials he swore at me and declared I would be starting a war. Please do not hire this person as they are not professional or responsible for their mess. I hope other can learn from my mistake and avoid dealing with this poor excuse of a plumber.

I wish there were 10 stars to rate A Better Choice Plumbing! Gary showed up at our home where we were sure our slab in the kitchen would have to be jackhammered and removed to fix the issue we had going on. But NO, Gary very quickly informed us of what was going on and immediately fixed it. We enjoyed visiting with him for a bit and then he was off to meet his next happy customer. The cost was minimal! I spoke with Gary previous to selecting a plumber and he was out of Tulsa which was an hour drive to me. I tried to find a more local plumber but due to the extreme freeze we had in Oklahoma most were backlogged for two months or more. I had a local plumbing company come out to look at the issues with my frozen pipes and he gave me a price quote that he could take a vacation on. I was getting so frustrated after searching and calling at least 8 different plumbers. I then remembered Gary whom I previously spoke with and sent him some photos of the repair work to get more of a nailed down quote. He called me back very quickly and then scheduled me in for the next day. He was on time, got right to it, and replaced water lines with pex and just did an amazing job in an hour. The price to come out seemed a bit pricey but the work he did I was very pleased with, and the fact that he came out the next day and basically gave me a price over the phone. It turned out to be a little bit more but all in all I would hire him again if I ever had any plumbing issues.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with A Better Choice Plumbing! If you need an honest plumber for a fair price Gary is The Man! He was punctual and kept in contact with me. I made several calls to other plumbers in the area and all of them charged ridiculous prices because of it being a weekend. Don't waste your time and let Gary take care of your plumbing needs!
