Rob W.I was thoroughly pleased with the service from Gary Franco's Plumbing. I had an issue with one of the bathtubs having no hot water. They were scheduled to come out between 1:00-3:00. And arrived promptly at 1:01!!! Both plumbers were very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. After a quick look, they were able to ascertain the issue with the lack of hot water. As they didn't have the part in their truck, they left to go back to their office to get one. And as such, they were back within half an hour, part in hand, and able to complete the job.
What service! Highly recommended.
Condescending attitude, late for job, difficult to reach . Does not return calls. No follow up. Worker came to my house with a concealed weapon in his belt when I told Gary he said ""so what, he did his job. Did not place cutoff valves for several fixtures. Sloppy work left a mess no pride in workmanship. Definitely find another plumber.
Steve B.Doubly over priced for work order completion. Recommended on Middlebury FB and their initial response was fast. Initial trip told me I needed a new kitchen sink faucet and removed the current unit, so I bought a new facet but could've simply replaced three rubber gaskets or bought two new
and cheap hoses for $20.00. Second visit was a fault of miss communication between the initial plumber and dispatch. The third visit had two plumbers for an outdoor hosehib shutoff valve spigot job. All went well and very swiftly. Three visits for one job and a quick faucet removal over the course of six days was charged $325.00
Hose bibs themselves run $10-$16, Brass ball valve $12.00, blue PIV piping $1.90, $5.50 for a tenpack of PEX clamps, $7.50 for a few poly expansion elbows, plumbers typically charge $45-65 per hour so at a glance I was thinking somewhere around $132.90 before taxes. Not exactly fancy, I wouldn't say a clean job either with cheap parts rather, than the more expensive parts in my attached photo, but definitely acceptable. Still shocked I paid $325.00 for 15mins and at a later date 30minutes of work. In hind sight I should've haggled the pricing down by half. Lesson learned. The employees themselves were nice, trustworthy and knowledgeable.
Franco Plumbing returned my call within an hour and scheduled my appointment for the next day. Gary was excellent. He diagnosed the problem almost immediately and did the repair. The work was done quickly and the cost was very reasonable.
I would recommend Franco Plumbing to anyone needing quality plumbing services.
Great experience! Very responsive, professional, and fair pricing. His office communicated frequently and was considerate of my schedule. Gary and his entire team were a pleasure to deal with. I have already scheduled them for a few other jobs I need completed. Highly recommend!
If you want to deal with an owner with a condescending attitude and make you feel real stupid, by all means contact this company. He had the nerve to say I needed a new toilet which is totally false. Not to mention his employees who came out to perform the work did not wear masks during this pandemic.
Had a leak in my kitchen faucet. Gary's crew came out, diagnosed and completed the repair quickly and affordable. I'd call Gary again whenever I need a plumber.
Marvin M.Called Gary up he knew exactly what was wrong just from the description, had a guy out here by 730am out by 8! Quick and easy! Would definitely use again!! 5 STARS
