Established in 1940, the business began as a franchise by my great-uncle, Russell P. Garvin. Now in its third generation, his nephew is the owner, and his daughters manage operations alongside 20-year veterans in the industry, combining time-honored practices with modern concepts and technologies. This year, we joyfully commemorated our 70th year of service! Kenneth has owned the business for over 22 years, having taken over from his Uncle Russell P. Garvin. With a background as a technician, he possesses a unique insight, having engaged in the demanding work for many years. This firsthand experience inspired him to improve employee benefits as one of his initial steps as the new owner. Prior to his plumbing career, Kenneth was a pastry chef and still enjoys baking for the Annual Christmas Party, and he bakes monthly for the serviceman's meetings to recognize employment anniversaries and celebrate staff birthdays. The employees truly appreciate the cakes.
