Founded in 1940, my great-uncle, Russell P. Garvin, started the business as a franchise. Now led by the third generation, the ownership has passed to his nephew, with his daughters overseeing operations alongside experienced professionals with over 20 years in the field, blending tradition and experience with fresh ideas and technologies. We were thrilled to mark our 70th year in operation this year! For more than 22 years, Kenneth has been at the helm, inheriting the business from his Uncle Russell P. Garvin. Starting as a technician, he brings a unique perspective, having performed the heavy labor himself for many years. This experience led him to enhance employee benefits as one of his first actions as the new owner. Kenneth previously worked as a pastry chef and continues to bake for the Annual Christmas Party, as well as monthly for the serviceman's meeting to celebrate employment anniversaries and staff birthdays. The team genuinely enjoys the cakes.
