Garthwaite is THE BEST. They have done plumbing work and heating system work for our daughter and son-in-law, and for my wife and myself they did all the plumbing work (gas and water) for our kitchen remodel, and are now doing the plumbing work on our bathroom remodels (including shower in one and bathtub in the other). They are very professional, do exceptionally good work, work on schedule, and (very important) clean up completely each day when done. I recommend them very highly for both those emergencies where you need a plumber right away, as well as for the big projects.

Like ""Holmes on Homes"" these guys came in and assessed a lousy vinyl job done by a poor subcontractor. They were creative, helpful, supportive, timely and priced right to do the job. I'm comfortable leaving these guys alone in my house to a job while errands are being ran. They stand by their work and they support you like a good neighbor. More than just plumbers they are home consultants.

Had some landscape work getting done on my back yard. Landscaper hit a gas line to the pool heater not properly Marked out so had to call Garthwaite in an emergency. They ran to my house immediately and made sure everything was safe Next day he came to repair the problem. Most businesses would take this opportunity to price gouge however I made a few calls to plumbers who couldn't get to it in a week and they quoted me way higher. The job was done meticulously. They had to get to my basement. They laid cloths down not to dirty anything and vacuumed up the entire basement. They left it cleaner than when they got it. Job well done and thanks for helping me in a Bing and not taking advantage

I called Garthwaite Plumbing off of a suggestion from our neighbor. Our pipes had burst late Sunday night and I talked to Ryan on early Monday morning. He walked me through everything I should do to ensure that I could continue using water without having more water leak out. He was able to come later in the day and he had everything fixed up within an hour and a half. He suggested a few additional things that I should get done while he was there.

As any consumer does before he gets the final bill, I held my breath...and...it was about half of what I thought it was going to be. I cannot speak highly enough for the honest work done on my house during a very stressful situation. I look forward to hiring Garthwaite again.

My first experience with this company was when my boiler wasn't working. I'd gotten an estimate from another reputable plumbing company to fix the problem, but it was very expensive (~$2K). I tried Garthwaite on the recommendation of a friend. Instead of wanting to replace several expensive pieces, Mr. Garthwaite (Sr) found a loose wiring connection, fixed it, and charged me for a service call.

I've been using Garthwaite Plumbing ever since and have found that they consistently provide quick and excellent service at reasonable prices.
