I've been a contractor and home remodeler for many years, and I have worked with and around plumbers for a long while. Owen Garrett is an exceptional individual among plumbers. When our water heater started leaking on Friday morning, I called him and he said all his crews were in the field and busy for the day. I was thinking of asking for a referral, but he interjected that he would replace the unit himself that afternoon. True to his word, he arrived late in the afternoon with the new unit and single handedly completed the new install and removal of the old unit. He was professional, polite, and seemed to enjoy the difficult task. He told me that most of his time is spent assessing plumbing problems and estimating. While he worked we had a chance to discuss his business and what he expects from his crews. I believe that Owen truly cares that his company delivers great customer service and that it operates fairly and ethically. He's number one to call for my plumbing needs.

Owen Garrett is the nicest guy, and this company is great. He's honest, trustworthy, and you never feel weird about having him or his crew in your house if you're a lady living alone. I know that's a huge one, but I never felt less than safe.

You also walk away from the experience knowing everything was done right. I was assured that if I had any questions, concerns, or issues to let them know and they'd make me a priority and be right back out.

This place was a Godsend for me. Last May I had a steel pipe running through ceiling rusted and flood my ceiling. Gundlach's came out, it was a Sunday but they charged me $976 for about 45 minutes work and left the old pipe with me. I called them back when I had saved to replace the other pipe they quoted $715 (for 1 pipe) during regular hours, I didn't have it. I called Garrett's, their guy looked in my attic, the fitting was corroded so I needed two pipes and a fitting. They came out this morning, their guys are really nice, smart, and caring. While they were in the attic, I heard him through my bedroom ceiling say he wanted to check all around and make sure there were no more problem areas. TOTAL cost $270!! And they hauled away the pipe Gundlachs left behind. I almost cried. They did twice the work for just about a third of the cost, need I say more?

This business has gained a customer for life. I messaged all the plumbers in bakersfield at 6am about an emergancy plumbing issue with a house me and my husband just bought, this company was the first to respond and the first to arrive. Every person I spoke too was very nice and helpful. I mean shit is serious lol after all. Edgar was our plumber and he was very nice and worked in a fast pace but not sloppy fast. He explained every step he was doing and to women let me just tell you we need that! The price was fair and the job was done. It was a two day job ,Edgar called to let me know when he would return and what was needed. I have trust issues with companies. This one how ever is a family owned business which is my favorite kind to support. Seriously this company should be named honest !! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME CALL THEM. THEY TOOK CARE OF MY SHIT
