Brian Garrett initially provided a quote that did not include all of the items on my task list. Then he delayed a completed quote until 2 days before the proposed start of the job. He was aware that I had only that week off for him to get the job done. He promised 10 hour days and, initially, a 3 day schedule. The promised 3 day schedule turned into a 5 day schedule once I received the quote. Then the frustration really started. A 10am-12pm start window turned into 3pm. Texts went unanswered. Phone calls went unanswered. Or he would text back and promise to be there by a certain time and not show up for 4 more hours. Never, ever, was there even an 8 hour day. He had 2 guys who were apparently in training and he wasn't supervising their work but re-organizing his truck while they worked. One day he just didn't even show up at all. Very little was accomplished during the 3 partial days that he was there. He promised to re-install the toilet every night, as I only have one bathroom. Never happened. He cut off the waste pipe & flange and did not re-install. He did get some new in-room plumbing installed but was unable to remove and replace the tub spout pipe. Concrete backer board installed improperly and will have to be removed and re-installed. Electrical only partially completed. Floor only partially completed. And I discovered tonight that he or one of his guys left the water turned on from cutting the tile in the backyard, and my hose ruptured from the pressure (hose has a sprayer on it so the water only runs when you trigger the sprayer. With nothing to relieve days of water pressure, it finally gave in). Definitely not a reliable contractor and I wouldn't want anyone else to have to deal with this complete lack of respect and professionalism.
