We had to move some plumbing around in our 100 yr old home which ended up uncovering a number of issues with the existing plumbing. Tommy was wonderful from beginning to end. I think he and his team member, James, did their best to balance being both thorough and efficient (and keeping costs to a minimum). They were kind, I trust the work they did and they were fair with their pricing.

I can't say how pleased I am with this company. Especially our technician, Ben. After experiencing extreme freezing temperatures we had a pipe burst and had an excessive amount of water spraying out like crazy. We called A LOT of other emergency plumbers and none of them had any availability for several days. It was Saturday (Christmas Eve) and a lot of the other plumbers said they didn't have any appointments for at least 3 days! I called Garrett Mechanical and was given an appointment on Christmas Day! Ben came and saved the day. He was very personable. He was extremely informative and explained everything that he was doing, and what needed to be done. He gave me tips for avoiding this happening again in the future as well. They were life savers in our time of need and I would recommend this company to anyone that needs plumbing services.

I would shop around before scheduling an appt. with this place. I had a shut off valve replaced on a Saturday that cost me $625 and that was with a 10% discount. I asked the tech why it was so expensive when I had the exact same job and same parts performed by another plumbing company 8 months prior that only cost me $350. He told me it was because it was Saturday. I couldn't remember the name of the other plumbing company that only charged me $350 and I would've had to pay $289 for the Garrett tech to come out so I left him do the work. So, Monday rolls around and I call the office to see if I could get a breakdown of the invoice. I asked the lady if they charge extra on a Saturday and she tells me no. I said huh, that's odd because the tech said that's why the price was so high. She was suppose to get with some sort of manager and call me back. Surprise, surprise...no call back! I gave 3 stars because the tech did a good job. However, so did the $350 tech.

My sink was clogged and I tried everything to unclog it. After a rough month of bills, refrigerator, AC, and dishwasher all needed repairs or replacement, I really couldn't add another bill to the mix. The gentlemen at Garrett gave me some tips over the phone for me to try before bringing them in. They were so helpful, and I was able to unclog it. I will be calling them for the next job I have for a plumber. Great Customer service!

I hired GARRETT MECHANICAL to come replace my hot water tank they lied saying they was going to fix it that day when they did come it wasn't fix properly it flooded my kitchen and my laundry room. Then they lied about the guy coming to fix it was in a meeting when in fact he was at a new customer they had my money so the H with me. The owner call saying he was going to take money off my bill for the inconvenience never did. Just a lying company & unprofessional

I paid $695 to have a drain line scoped and cleaned. I paid another $395 for line discovery because they said the line had roots and was broken at some point. I was told by the 2nd plumber who came, the one who did the """"discovery"""", that after tracing the drain pipe from its start in the laundry room, that it went down into the concrete pad and ground and then went to the left under the house into the crawl space where it connected to the main drain pipe. His recommendation was to then bore out a hole through the back wall of the laundry room, run the new pipe on the exterior of the house and then bore another hole into the crawl space and connect it to another existing drain line for $3600. I questioned this as the first plumber they had out, that I paid to snake the line told me he went 75' through and then hit tree roots he couldn't get through. 75' seemed too far to be just under the crawl space and there are no trees under the house. Regardless, I had two other plumbers come out and give me an estimate, ones I've used before. They quickly discovered the pipe ran down into the concrete pad and then went straight out into the backyard, through the backyard, where it connected to a hub with 3 other houses. Which makes much more sense as there are trees in the back yard. One repaired a small broken section of the pipe and cleaned the whole length out and was done. He also told me he very much doubted the other guy traced the line because it goes nowhere near the crawl space. Not to mention the fact that three different people from this company collected my credit card information over the course of this whole thing because they said they needed to have it on file, and then no one ever seemed to have it on file. I sent 3 emails asking for a refund of the $395 for the line """"discovery""""/trace - and they ignored me - yet when they couldn't find my credit card info and wanted that money they couldn't answer me fast enough.

I cannot recommend this company enough. My shower pan was leaking and the pan was unfortunately, under a tiled shower enclosure. I contacted eight different contractors. The plumbers said they did not do this kind of work because mostly it required tile demolition, the tile setters said that this was plumbing work, the general contractors did not even respond to the request. Tommy from Garrett Mechanical was amazing. He has a tile person, Vidal, who Did the tile demolition and the tile setting and Garrett did the plumbing part. Tommy checked in with me while the project was ongoing and the price was a third of what I thought I would have to pay? The end product is beautiful and we could not be happier.

First off I want to just say that I live at the same residence that Deborah S does . She is my wife..and the review that she did is a load of sh*t.. let's start out by saying after she called garrett mechinal we were quoted one price and when the technician came out the price changed..we had a water pipe bust under our house their technician looked at the pipe then crawled back out and left . A few minutes later he came back with supplies crawled under the house and said it was fixed.. I got home from work walked in the house and heard water running.. so I go under the house another the same pipe that the technician had supposedly fixed was leaking.. so I turn the water off and tell my wife to call Tommy Garrett and let them know..while she was calling I inspected the work they had did.. and all the technician did was buy 2 shark bites @ 8.59 cents and replace 3 foot of PVC pipe and Garrett mechinical was charging us $900.00 dollars. My wife had called Tommy Garrett and told him what was going on he said he would come out and have a look. When he got here needless to say I was livid..I asked him please crawl up under the house with me and show me 900.00 dollars worth of work. We looked together and he couldn't find 900.00 worth of work..so I asked does your technician make 800.00 dollars an hour cause he was here no longer than 45 minutes all together ..he said he would take care of it..the next morning...needless to say me and my wife argued about her review she wrote before the work was even started.. The next morning no technician no Tommy Garrett not a word..all day Long that night my wife texts him and tells him that we still have the leak and asks if he had spoken to me because she was going to stay out of it that he needed to speak to me from here on out..he told her that he would call me right now.. I get a text at 11:43 at night saying Deborah said that your house still has a leak I said yes and no water.he said he would have a technician out first thing in the morning and that he would call me in the morning I told him I don't get service here let me give you my Google number to call me on that to ensure I get his call..I told him I leave for work at 7:30 am he assured me he was going to call and have a technician here in the morning . Well the next morning came and I called my boss and told them I would be late cause of plumbing problems needless to say there was no phone call from Tommy Garrett not did a technician show up.for 2 days we heard nothing so I called the person that loaned us the $900.00 and told them to put a stop payment on the $900.00 dollar check he had..I told them all they did was buy 2 shark bites for 8 dollars and 3 feet of pipe... Once they found out we were gonna put a stop payment on the check then and only then did he call me.. but by then it was to late. I didn't want them back at our house...for one trying to rip us off for another you don't continually text somebody's wife after they have told you to talk to their husband and you damn sure don't text someone's wife at 11,12,1,or 2 clock in the morning We paid them for the work they did the 2 shark bites and 3 foot of pipe we got $600.00 back out of the $900.00 in which I still believe that was to much to pay them..so if you like being ripped off... And someone texting your wife at 11,12,1,2 o'clock in the morning and lying about what they did to fix the problem this is the company to call.. Deborah S shame on you for the review you left for Garrett mechinical wonder if your review would have been the same if the money came from your pocket
