Didn't show up two out of two times (one time I called, one time my husband not knowing I had already tried). Said he'd be there the next morning at 8.30 am both times. When I texted that he had stood up the same people twice, he said sorry and then suggested I should have given him a reminder call. Wasting people's time with no offer to fix anything just leaves customers/clients feeling not at all valued. And I had a ton of work to do here. Moving on. (2 stars because I really feel badly giving one)

Called Garrett about my plumbing issue and he said he was going to be in Snowmass all day on the day I called but he said he can come by Thursday morning since he's based out of Glenwood Springs and that would be an easy place to start his day. He asked me to text him my information including my address which I did immediately. Next morning I texted him around 7:00 am to get an idea of what time he'll be stopping by and he never responded or stopped by. I tried calling him to see if he can come over on Friday and he never called again. I never discussed pricing or anything specific except where I live and the job (fixing a slow draining sink). I'm noticing a few laborers who live in GWS but only work in Aspen/Snowmass and really don't care about supporting the community they live in. Garrett gave me that impression.
UPDATE: I received a call from Garrett today, 5 days after his appointment date and he left a voicemail. I'm not sure if he's calling because he saw my review or what, but I'll give him the benefit of doubt and raise his review 2 stars. I've already scheduled someone else and they took care of my sink, but still it's so rude to just do a no-show and not even let the customer know. It sounds like he probably would service GWS folks which is why I'm improving the review.

We used Garrett Hanson Plumbing to replace two 50 gallon hot water tanks. They were a professional team, timely, kept me informed on their progress and clearly knew what they were doing. They were also very polite and took the time to answer my questions. I typically do not write reviews but finding a knowledgeable plumber, not just an intern in training, is rare.
