I called Greenhouse on a Tuesday afternoon and it is now Wednesday at 5:00pm. I currently have hot water (yippee!). My water heater needed to be replaced along with a bit of out of code piping in the attic. These guys were great! Showed up (and called to confirm) on time, replaced my 30gal with a better 40gal model for a better price, no mess, nice guys, in about 2 HOURS!! Best service I've had in south Austin in 10yr. I would send them to my Grandma's.

Gardenhouse - A+++++ Ok folks here is the story. Had a leak in a wall - flooded kids rooms - we worked liked crazy pulling the pad and carpet so we were spent! Next morning we called Gardenhouse and they were GREAT on the phone - Showed up right when they said they would! Great first impression, very nice & professional and had water restored in 40 minutes! This has been our best experience with a plumber ever. Marcus & Mike were great...they presented me with options and were very helpful and mindful of cleanup. Here is the best part...I was very surprised to see the bill....it was below what I thought we would pay and I will recommend them to anyone! Call them and you will not be sorry! Cory

Gardenhouse is one of my favorite companies to refer - everyone else loves them as much as we do and all the thanks and gratitude for such an awesome referral is pretty cool. Their service is great, I trust them and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the fact that when we schedule an appointment - they give me an actual time, that they are always prompt about, and not a window of time. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

I love it when I finally find a dependable, honest company that I can put on my list for services so I don't have to blindly hope to find a company for future issues. Three times before I actually hired Marcos of Gardenhouse, I called him to trouble-shoot problems I was having. He was kind, gave advice and even told me how to save some money by picking up my own part. He didn't ask my name or when I wanted to hire him. I knew I had found a great company when the owner was trying to save me money on his bill. I have to say, as a woman, I always cringe when I call service companies, wondering if I am going to get charged more, etc...(which has happened in the past). It really is a relief to know that when I need plumbing service I have a company I can go to that is on time, dependable and honest.

I am the office manager for Total Restoration of Texas which is a water damage/mitigation/emergency service company here in Austin. I have used Gardenhouse Plumbing several times in the past and in fact had them out to an emergency service call last night and another today. The first job was a water heater that was leaking from an upstairs closet causing water to flood the upstairs and into the downstairs. We called at 9pm and they arrived within the hour and got it capped! They came back today to replace the water heater and even were able to get the unit replaced under warrenty. Today we had them out to a flooded house from a toilet malfunction. They were able to repair everything quickly and cost effectively. I will use them again!

I called Gardenhouse after talking to another plumbing company about my leaking(gushing?) water heater. I initially thought of switching to a tankless heater, but was convinced otherwise(the other company was convinced I needed one). The installers came out, replaced everything and finished quickly-and then charged well below the estimate because of it.

They did promise to pick my up my old tank and dispose of it later, but it was still in my lawn the next morning and some random scavenger asked me if he could take it away. Not sure if they ever would have gotten around to picking it up, but still-it quickly became a non-issue.

My hot water heater went out over night. I called several plumbers in a desperate panic as my family refused to take cold showers until we could fix the problem. They were going to my in-laws for showers at night. Being the stubborn individual I am I was okay with the cold showers. Anyway, Marcos and Mike worked us in the same day we connected and replaced and repaired our hot water heater beautifully. They were extremely knowledgeable, cordial, and professional. We couldn't be happier with their service. We will absolutely use them for any future plumbing needs!

Ok, I was a pain in the rear customer. I had a tankless water heater installed. I did not like the location (where I told these guys to put it) so I asked them to move it and they did. They didn't even complain. They charged me a little more due to the extra man hours, but the bid still came in at the original quote which was lower than 2 others I got.

Good guys, fairly priced, professionally dressed, friendly, showed up on the days they said they would and communicated if there was a challenge. What more do you want from a plumbing company?

Talk about a great experience! This was my best dealing with any Austin plumbing company to date!

Ok, to be fair, part of the reason this was such a good experience was the sheer luck of being in the the right place at the right time. I called Marcos who happened to be in the neighborhood at that time; he was literally right around the corner when I called. He actually arrived at my house within a half hour of my call. I realize this was an exceptional circumstance, but I still think it speaks to the helpfulness of the company.

Since the job I needed done was pretty simple, Marcos was able to give me a ballpark idea (not an official estimate, mind you) over the phone which was about 20% less than the other callback I received. This is a big plus for me. I really don't want to waste the company's time or mine when looking for services. Some companies require that they show up on site to give an estimate and then some even charge for the trip over whether I use them or not.

Marcos completed the work within about 30 minutes and was on his way. He was careful to clean up after his work and he didn't leave anything behind except a business card and a satisfied guy with a sink that was now working again.

I would always rather give work to local homegrown businesses who provide good work and fair prices. Gardenhouse Plumbing fits that bill to a tee.

I gave Gardenhouse a try because of the yelp reviews but service was not good. Marcus did come out to take a look at our problem of a leaking sewer line but never followed up. I called back and he said he would email estimate again and it never came. My reason for the bad review was simply lack of follow up from Gardenhouse. If you don't want the job, that's fine, but at least call or email and tell me. I never received any communication from Gardenhouse via phone, email, or text.
