Derek and Lani are awesome! I suspect the two negative reviews are from customers with little experience dealing with contractors. Believe me, Derek is not like others in his field. He's much more conscientious and actually takes pride in his trade.

Derek completed two separate jobs for me in the Spring of 2017. I was impressed when Lani CALLED me to inquire about my satisfaction with the work after each job wrapped up. Again, this is something very few in the industry would ever do! Because I was pleased with the service received, I recently referred my mother to Garden Home Plumbing & Drain. My mother also found Derek and Lani to be very helpful and honest. We both would not only recommend Garden Home, we intend to hire them for future plumbing needs.

Excellent service... prompt, friendly and fair. I called them out to replace a corroded shut off valve so my new dishwasher could be installed.

While here, Derek noticed how the hot water in the kitchen was just a trickle. He fixed that, too. I had gotten used to it being that way, but now that it's fixed, it's so much better!

So disappointed. We understand that contractors are extremely busy right now but to lead us on for nearly a week just to tell us you ""probably can't"" is terrible. We appreciated their initial response but that's where the care seem to end. Maybe our job wasn't significant enough for them?... Either way please just let people know your company's true limitation at the beginning so customers can adjust accordingly. We wouldn't have wasted anyone's time if we knew you ""probably can't"" get to us. We did everything you asked by submitting details & photos of the work we needed done (which I was just told were never opened) & in return we get nothing but frustration and more wasted time.

The advice and guidance during the quotation process were most impressive. They gave us options for how to replace our failing disposal and made a grounded recommendation. Derek did a great job installing the new unit, and Lani was proactive in scheduling and coordinating the appointment with us. Thank you for a great job! Derek Marsh and his wife Lonnie run a top-notch plumbing business. Derek repaired a serious problem while installing a new toilet, a problem which had been ignored or poorly addressed by two other plumbers. He made several other adjustments while he was here, and he was prompt, courteous, and friendly. He will be the first one we call for any future plumbing needs.

Update:
I had mentioned the sink complaint was part of a larger job. Today we had another plumber out due to a toilet they installed for us had water come out around the base when it was flushed. It is a not-often used toilet in the basement - located near that utility sink. Today's plumber informed us it had been installed incorrectly. If their response to the original issue was not to deny the issue & note here they would only discuss with my elderly mother (who they already had lied to), it wouldn't even be worth my time to update this review. As it is - years later & we STILL feeling the sting of calling these guys.

Derek did a great job of clearing a clog in the valve if our shower/tub. He was careful and respectful of our home and was very easy to work with. Replacing the valve would have been much more expensive and involved. He thought outside the box and got it done in good time. We will go to home first for any other work.

Yes!!Yes!!Yes!! Don't even consider anyone else! garden home plumbing was referred to me by my sister. She was so pleased. Derek did such great work, at our house as well, and at the lowest price I found!! If you go anywhere else you're a fool! I was quoted over 3 times as much by Three Mountains Plumbing. Derek removed our old, broken water heater, did the most professional job of installing the high quality (made in the USA) water heater, cleaned up everything and on top of that...he's really nice! This man should be charging twice the price. If you want someone to make your day, hire Derek from garden home plumbing. He has years of knowledge and experience and he stands by his work!
