We have a major water problem beside our house. I have had an A/C company come out and check for leaks, nothing was leaking from the condenser nor overflow valves. Found a water valve leak from the main valve at the front of the house. Garcia & son's replaced the valve, and was short tape to complete the job but promised to purchase some and come back to tape the pipes. Still waiting 4 weeks later.

The only thing good I can say is they showed up when everyone else didn't even call. From there it was downhill. Humberto quoted me $250 plus the cost of the permit for adding an extension to water and drain lines and I accepted. They showed up pretty much on time, but ran into problems right away - broke off the Y to the sinks right at the concrete floor level after about 5 minutes work and spent 40 minutes to repair that. They added the two lines and drain pretty quickly and it looked pretty good. He charges me $400 because of the extra work (which was his fault), but I paid it because it was half the price of the nearest competitor. The inspector shows and writes it up as an S trap and fails us. The inspector asks if the permit was pulled and I said I don't know. Apparently not when I call the city. I call him and he says it is not his fault and won't call the inspector. I call him again and he hangs up on me. When I check up on him, it appears he has lost his license. If he would have been honest with me I would have gotten someone else or delayed inspection at least. Now it is going to cost me $125 to re-inspect and pay for another plumber to fix. Check his license before he starts anything and make sure he pulls the permit before starting -or- just don't hire these guys!

He never showed. I got a free estimate and when it came time to fix the pipe he never came.

They were a little late and a little under prepared, but when it came down to the quality of work, they met or exceeded expectations. Not only that, but their price was less than half of all the other companies I talked to. Mr. Garcia is a nice guy, and his people do solid work.
