Our garbage disposal that was replaced about a couple of months ago started making just a humming noise. After a while, it stopped working and was told to just press the reset button. That reset button only allowed the machine to go back on but continue to make a humming noise.

Since I lost our contact who helped replaced our old garbage disposal, I was in need of finding another contact and looked here. Garbage Disposal Paramedics was quick to reach out and also had a technician, Sam, reach out to me by phone. Sam was very responsive and very nice. He actually provided me instructions on how to go about resolving the issue myself. Using an allen wrench, I was to turn it so the blades come loose. I tried several times which was hard at first since it wasn't working. Since this was my first time doing this, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do it but Sam was helpful in providing me the instructions to let me do it first before reaching back out to him if I needed further assistance. Another twist, the garbage disposal sounded normal again but you can clearly hear that something was rattling. Turned out to be something stuck. I removed it and it's now working like normal.

Our garbage disposal was making an awful grinding sound. I contacted Garbage Disposal Paramedics and not only were they responsive but they were also able to schedule someone to come right away. Long story short, Sam came in during the allotted time frame and he was quick in diagnosing and repairing the problem. Sam was very friendly and professional. Price was very reasonable. They were communicative on Yelp messenger. They were available next day (booked it later due to my schedule), clearly laid out the price for garbage disposal replacement + fix service fee. I asked them to call in advance, and they did! Sam arrived. Fixed the garbage disposal, it was quick as turns out a bone was blocking it -- he used a wrench to turn thru it! They were very nice and I will save their info and call them again in future. Thank you Sam and team! Many people don't want to help fix the garbage disposal and just want to replace it, so I'm thankful they were willing to fix it.
