Had GAP Plumbing install a water heater 11 months ago for $1250. It stop working two days ago. They came out charged me another $150 to replace the water nipple that was leaking from install and relight the pilot. It took 5 minutes and they did not stand behind their original work. We will not use GAP Plumbing in the future. It's amazing companies will lose customers over such little money.

Service call #1. Came to repair a leaking toilet. Adjusted a screw and it stopped running. Changed a shower head but did not have extension. In the house for 10 minutes. $150.
Customer service not too emphetic at first but sent them back as Toilet continued running next day. Service call # 2.. Tested it and it did not run, so they did not think of the possibility that it was an intermittent problem. Were told that we were not flushing our toilet properly. Decided to have them switch our shower heads since they still did not have an extension, had the replace a gasket on the bathtub to avoid a complete wast of time.Visit time 15 minutes. Charged another $150. Toilet still runs. If you think 20 minutes of service to switch two showerheads, change a bathtub gasket and be told how to flush a toilet is worth $300 then GAP Plumbing is the company for you.

Like always, one's impression is all they have to go by. Others may have had a great experience. The real test of a company is how they do when they have a customer satisfaction fail. If they had just made things right and just kept the charge to $150 instead of trying to make a killing, I would have been fine with the toilet not being fixed. Some businesses are fine with churning customers in a large city.

Great find! I came home for lunch, to a leak in main water line coming into my house. GAP was busy until tomorrow, but when I told them I was without water, they worked me in. By 5:00 PM, all was well.

Ultra fast service and VERY reasonably priced. Hope plumbing needs are far in the future, but I will remember who to call.

I debated about whether to write a review because I don't want these guys to become so popular that I can't book them in the future. But then I thought about how hard it was to find a decent plumber so I thought I should put my selfishness aside and help everyone out. Quick, responsive and honest. They provided a quote, honored it and did the job right and in a cost effective manner. Discount for new customers at the time. I think they may give Yelp folks a discount too (not sure). I gave them 5 stars which I rarely do, and hope they can stay like they are and continue to provide this level of service.

Gap Plumbing did a great job replacing a 50 gallon hot water heater in our attic. The technicians, Jimmy and Justin, were fast and precise, and cleaned-up well after the work. They came early morning but could not start due to an oversight on my part (attic stairs need to be removed to fit heater through). Once I was ready, Teri rescheduled the same day and they came back to complete the job in the sweltering attic heat with no complaints.

I priced the job around with 3 local plumbers and Gap Plumbing was the best price with a quality Rheem heater. The price that Teri quoted over the phone was exact with no add-ons or additional fees.

REVISED 6/18/15: 5 stars
Okay, I know this is long but one more shout-out. A week after my last REVIEW, my aunt purchased a new dishwasher and, true to her promise, Terri had the same men come and install the dishwasher. They were pleasant, efficient, and knowledgeable. They took out the old one, put in the new one, and carried the old one out to the curb. As she promised, they only charged her for half their normal charge. I highly recommend GAP Plumbing!

REVISED REVIEW As of 12:15pm 6/5/15):

I went over to GAP Plumbing and showed Terri the invoice, which she agreed the handwriting was very poor, and she mistook what was written. She called the plumber and advised him she was giving my aunt's check back to her because he ought to 1) write more legibly, and 2) have written on the invoice (due to my aunt's age) DO NO USE! I told her the dishwasher is almost 20 years old, so Terri said that if we get her a new one they will come and install it for half their basic price ($150), because of the trouble it has caused my aunt.

Due to her generosity of spirit to correct this immediately, I am 100 PERCENT in support of this company! As she stated, companies do make mistakes but GAP is determined to correct any they make. They have gone the second and third mile to correct the issue so I completely see why this company has such rave reviews...I'm shouting their praises too!!!

As one who assists my 90 year old aunt, I'm angry at the way GAP Plumbing treated her. She had an appointment for one day but they came sooner (which normally would be great) so I was not able to be there when the plumber came. Their normal fee is $150 to come to your home, and apparently any charges for the work comes out of that.

The two men looked at the water line to the dishwasher, and said nothing was wrong and charged her $75. When I got to her home, she showed me the invoice, which stated they looked at the water line and there is no problem. That is all the invoice says.

My aunt ran the dishwasher and it flooded the kitchen. I called and although my aunt's name was in their computer system, her appointment for two days later was erased! The lady tried to tell me that no one from their company had ever been there. After I explained that I was holding the yellow invoice, gave her the invoice number, and the names of the two men who came, then she said she would have to check in to it, but she said she would set up a "call back" after 2:30pm today.

This morning they called and told my aunt they were not coming. When I called them back and left a message they returned the call quickly. She said they do not fix dishwashers, even though the invoice says they fix "dishwasher connections." The lady said that the invoice says that it is the "gasket that is broken, and that is very different from connections." I explained that the invoice does NOT say anything about a gasket and that, in fact, the man told her it was fine, which is WHY she ran a cycle. The lady said, "Well, you'll have to send me a copy of the invoice because we have to have proof that your invoice is different." Likely I'll have to drive over to show them the actual invoice so she can see for herself that the word "gasket" was added after the invoice.

Contacted Gap In August 2014 when I had a crack in a pipe under my house. Other companies wanted to dig from the side of my house to this pipe which was in the middle of my house. These same companies wanted to charge me 4 times what Gap charged!

Gap came out said they could get to it from my laundry room. I was afraid they would tear up the room but Glen and Lori did a FABULOUS job from start to finish. Glen jack hammered a small hole and was able to do all the work with a small opening in my foundation. The laundry room was put back just the way I wanted. The job could have easily taken a day but ended up being a half day job.

Highly recommend Glen at Gap Plumbing.

We were thrilled with GAP Plumbing. After receiving an outrageous quote from another company to replace a part on our water heater, I got a very reasonable quote over the phone. Two very nice gentlemen showed up on time the next day and had the job done in 15 minutes. They were professional, on time and very reasonable with their prices. We plan on using them from now on.
