Shelia S.I hired GAP plumbing to do a whole house remodel. Just like on TV, we found an issue - cast iron pipes. GAP plumbing replaced all of our pipes including two sewer lines and mainline taps. The effort required considerable communication and organization with our contractor and the city inspectors. The GAP team kept me and my contractor informed of progress...all with a cheerful attitude. I double-checked their prices and found them to be fair. The prices were not the cheapest (red flag) but certainly not the most expensive. They did what they said they would do, when they promised to do it. What more can you ask for?
Faridah S.Bad attitudes, bad services, dishonest pricing structure. Got a recommendation to call here from a home service company that charges nothing to come to your home and diagnose problems.
I called in the morning and dealt with a bit of an attitude to get the appointment made, but was desperate and assumed that since a reputable company recommended them the in-person service would be kinder.
Two plumbers came out to figure out why my bathtub wasn't running hot water - turned out the screw was loose in the handle. Three turns of a screwdriver and they turned around and handed me a bill for $169 dollars.
The technician then told me that if they'd just "diagnosed" the problem (i.e. told me to turn the screwdriver) then they wouldn't have had to charge for "fixing" the problem.
Pissed beyond measure, and will never be using this company again
Such a disappointment. Had 3 tasks for them to take care of and the techs that came out couldn't complete any of them. I explained on the phone everything needed and was assured that the techs coming out would be able to fix or at least give good suggestions on what it could be and that did not happen. I was duped, $165 may as well have been flushed down the toilet.
Justin came to our house this morning right on time. Him and his helper were friendly and professional and went right to work fixing our toilet. They charged us the service charge Teri told me about on the phone and $10 for the parts. I was very happy with the work and will use them again if or when I need a plumber. I would also recommend them to any friends needing a plumbing company.
I have thrown some very weird problems at them and they have fix them right the first time on time. They are always courteous, reasonable and professional. I would recommend them to any one looking for a great plumbing company!
Contacted Gap to fix a toilet that wasn't flushing properly. The plumbers were here for about 10 mins, I was charged $169.10 ($165.00 for LABOR!) Unfortunately as time went on, we're back to the same problem. I contacted them again, to which they replied "because it was past the 30 day warranty (which I think is ridiculous), I would be charged yet again for parts/labor!" Incredibly disappointing, especially since we've used them for two separate issues. I will never recommend their services and I will gladly look elsewhere to fix the issue I have with my toilet.
UPDATE: I'm happy to say Ms. Terry contacted me stating Gap Plumbing wanted to resolve my issue. She further stated the matter with the warranty should've been addressed differently. I DO NOT like to write bad reviews! I just wish the matter would've been handled differently to avoid all of this. I truly appreciate her taking the time to reach out, but more importantly stating they would do their best to fix the problem.
Mistie L.Had a mainline drain clog after moving into home I've been renting for years. Called GAP Plumbing and they responded quickly and cleaned the main line and were very reasonable on cost. 3 days later, drain issue when ran upstairs shower that caused downstairs toilet to overflow. They came back and had to pull the toilet to clean out the clog. Very professional, friendly, and worked hard to take care of the issue!
I will definitely use GAP Plumbing for any future plumbing needs!
Used Les Conn years ago, but they were expensive and then a couple of years ago as landlord living in CA, they would not provide service since I was not on the property. Horrible customer service.
I rely on yelp for reviews, but don't often write them, but wanted to share my positive experience about GAP for those in need of a good plumbing service!
I had a water leak raining down into my dinning room from the ceiling. Upon inspection in the attic, i could see the water spraying out from a galvanized pipe but saw no way to get to it.
They came out within an hour of calling and left about an hour later. The pipe was pulled out and replaced with some kind of tubing and the technician managed to get to it without cutting out the ceiling. I ended up paying much less than i was expecting as well.
Great service. Quality repair, no patch, complete replacement of the failing galvanized pipe that was leaking. professional. I will use them again.
Home Warranty America, my insurance company, is still planning on sending someone out within the next 24 to 48 hours. Maybe. GAP Plumbing did the work in less time than the insurance company will take to fill out the proper forms.
Nam T.Justin from GAP plumbing was over doing service for me and did a great job. Was super fast and very knowledgeable. Will definitely used them again for future plumbing service. Price was reasonable and got reasonable price for future work. Will be calling them back
$150 for the plumber to pull out the pop-up, wipe off a bit of gunk, replace the pop-up, and test the flow in the drain. Took 3 minutes.
When I called (afterwards) to question the charges, was told that that is their "standard fee for an hour's work."
Did the plumber ask if there was anything else that he could do toward earning an hour's pay? Negative...just got his check and hit the road.
No honor!
