We needed a full washing machine hook up at our cabin. Mr. Gamble came and quoted $800.00 to connect the washer discharge to the main lead to the field which bi-passes the tank. And install hot and cold water for the washer. We have the inspection report from the county showing where the septic tank and field lines are when the cabin was built. My happier already dug up part of the tank so they could see where it was. This should have been a fairly easy job. He started digging and couldn't find the discharge pipe from the tank to the field. He proceeded to dig up the entire top of the tank and removing the lids and BROKE THE TOP the of the tank. And although the county inspection drawing shows where the discharge is located from the tank, he still couldn't find it. Mr Gamble concluded there was no discharge into a field line. We Only have a septic tank with a hole in the bottom which allows the sewage to leech in the ground under the tank. He said. Obviously I was upset at this news. They began laying the pipes to connect the washer discharge directly into the tank. Ok. I asked Mr Gamble to continue digging to see if he could find the tank discharge into a field. I told him I would pay extra for this. Guess what? He dug down about 18 inches more and found the discharge exactly where the drawing showed it was! A miracle! .And low and behold, it was smashed and damaged. Of course, I cannot say for certain that during his digging, he was the one who damaged it and then covered it up claiming there is no discharge, but there has never been any problem with the tank or field. So you decide. It was directly under where he smashed the top of the tank. I saw this happen with my own eyes. I was standing right there. So now we needed the discharge pipe replaced from the tank which they did and they shoved a big rock in the side of the tank to cover the hole he made. Yeah, I am sure that'll hold. (sarcasm). Total bill came to $1,200.00. Because they replaced the discharge pipe and dug extra. Complete BS. Avoid this company at all cost. I will never ever recommend them to anyone .
