Accidentally broke the pipe leading into our house by bumping it moving furniture in. Called and was able to get someone out right away who did an awesome job! Replaced more than just the broken pipe, upgraded the shutoff, and moved it back so it wasn't so far out in the way to hopefully prevent future issues. Absolutely would recommend to all my family and friends!

I spoke to a lady on the phone (Lisa) about fixing a bad leak at my residence. She said it would be no problem, and she would have the plumber contact me soon. But when the actual plumber finally contacted me (4 hours later!!), I was told that they could not do the job and to try someone else. I had a mess, and they left me hanging half-a-day.

I ended up contacting ""reputable"" plumbers, who immediately sent someone out to resolve the issue and cleaned up the mess!.. very professional and pleasant.
When I initially looked up Galt Plumbing & Drain Cleaning (48 Elm Ave Galt Ca 95632), I noticed the address was in an adjacent neighborhood to mine, at a residence.
I thought ""GREAT!.. it would be good to give someone local the business."" Boy, was I wrong!
Lisa was not knowledgeable, and quite misleading... and the plumber sounded grouchy, like it was MY fault for calling.
Apparently, it WAS my fault for calling these people .. never, ever again!

Talk about a Merry Christmas!! My hot water heater stopped working at the coldest part of the year just before Christmas. I didn't need a Huge plumbing bill at this time. I called Galt Plumbing and they responded super fast! Gene came out and was totally professional and fixed the problem immediately. New parts and a new wax seal on a broken bathroom too! Very fast, efficient, professional AND at a REASONABLE PRICE!! You have a confirmed customer for life!! I can't thank you enough. Randy Fowler came to our home to repair a leaking shower and charged $150.00 we payed Randy. The part he used started to leak in 2 weeks. When we called him back and he wanted $90 to replace part he installed less than two weeks prior. When talking to him the first time he seemed very nice and honest. It's sad we can't trust repair people in our own community. :-)

I needed a part replaced on my water heater, and had looked at a lot of heavily advertised plumbing companies. When looking at their Yelp reviews, it made me cautious after reading so many issues people had. I decided to give Galt Plumbing (Randy) a call, and heard back from him quickly. He was able to come out the same day, and was very easy to work with as far as my work schedule. Unlike other companies who charged by the service call, he charged a flat hourly rate. He came out, replaced my thermocouple for my heater and fixed a toilet that had some issues. Local guy. Fast responses. From my experience, I would recommend Randy for local residents!
