I purchased a home several years back that had a well and a septic system. The tag on my water softening system indicated that the house's water system had previously been serviced by the Bruce Gallup Company. I called the company two years later when the well stopped working. The company sent out someone to check out my problem and he indicated that their company indeed was familiar with our house and our well. I asked for a ""ballpark"" estimate for the cost of the repairs and he said that the pump could be replaced and the well housing extended above ground for about $1,500. I told him to proceed with the work. When they finished, I was presented with a bill for $3,000. The bill included such things as a $100 charge for their backhoe (to excavate 11"" to 12"") which tore up my lawn. They also incorrectly plumbed my sediment filter which made the well water taste awful. I have since hired another company to re-plumb the whole water softening system. Be sure to get a WRITTEN estimate from these guy before giving them the go-ahead or you may find yourself paying for a lot more than you anticipated. I DO NOT recommend this company.

Woke up to no water. Called them at 8:30, tech arrived at 12:30. Fortunately, an easy fix and he suggested less expensive switches that didn't have to be special ordered. Water back by 2 pm. Best diagnostic and repair service we've had!

Bruce Gallup company did great work for me! I lost a lot of water pressure and ended up it was a leak in the front yard. They came out the same day and were able to fix it on the spot. They had to dig up a spot of the yard to get access to the pipe, everything works great now and it was a fair price. I'm very happy with their services! I recommend them to anyone in need.
