My toilet has been leaking for some time now and I finally to get it fixed. With the description I provided to yelp when looking for a Plummer Julio already knew what the issue was and was able to provide me a quote but at that time I already had committed to have another plumbing company come by for an estimate. When they came by and gave me an estimate, I respectfully declined because it was way too expensive. I responded back to Julio and he said he would come by that day. Our Flume water sensor indicated there was a slow leak. After turning off and on each visible indoor faucet and outdoor sprinkler, I still could not locate the source of the leak.

Gallo responded to my Yelp requests quickly and was the first one to show up for a diagnostic with a reasonable fee. Julio and his partner did a thorough search including getting down to the crawl space. They found some additional issues unrelated to the leak.

Now the main suspect was the underground pipe between the water meter and the house. As there was no shutoff valve to the house, there was no way to tell. As suggested, we agreed to install a shutoff valve at the spot. Sure enough, the leak was from the underground pipe. As promised, Gallo deduced the diagnostic fee from the shutoff valve installation.

We, like many of you, have received regular mails about water pipe insurance. These companies scared you how expensive a water pipe replacement could be. So, our worst nightmare finally came.

Considering there are pavers and sidewalk concrete between the water meter and the house, I was worrying about the paver and concrete repair after the main pipe was replaced. Lucky for us, Julio and the crew offered a smart solution. They would do the digging on the lawn and tunneled through the pavers and sidewalk concrete. With that, they could finish the job in a few hours and was able to offer an affordable price.

My only complaint is that the dug-up grass and plant did not look the same after being put back. I suspect they probably won't survive in the end. But I understand they are plumbers and not gardeners.

I had a major issue with my toilet. There was water leaking from the line. I tried to fix the problem by replacing the fill valve, but unfortunately, it didn't work and may have made it worse. I found a local plumber on Yelp, and Julio contacted me by text. He gave me a reasonable estimate, and even though he had another job in Union City, he rearranged his schedule to help me out due to the urgency of the situation. Julio arrived on time and did a professional job. I was very satisfied with the result - no more leaks and the toilet is working well. Other plumbers contacted me through Yelp, but Julio was the only one who accommodated my schedule.
