Redo sewer line from house to the street.
Gallegos did an excellent job in redoing my elderly parent's sewer line in Ojai. Their quote was good and they stuck to it and did a professional job. I would highly recommend them for this type of service. We received another quote from a large company and our interaction left me feeling like they were scamming us. The quote was much higher and I am pleased we went with Gallegos.

Sometimes you really should get your mind IN the sewer!

The sewer is one of those things people tend to not think about, until there are big problems. When the wife and I bought our house, we had Gallegos do a sewer lateral inspection. They found some cracks and root intrusion in the old clay pipe under our yard. I appreciated the video that they made available that showed exactly what the camera saw.

Gallegos offered me two options: hydro jetting and a complete sewer lateral replacement. The costs for both seemed reasonable, so I decided to go the replacement route for peace of mind.

The day of, a crew of 2 came and dug two large holes and did a trenchless pipe burst to pull the new 4"" SDR17 pipe through. They cleaned up fairly well and put the grass back as well as possible.

Communication could've been a little better though. Since I was home at the time, I asked to be given a heads up when they would turn off the water. They didn't inform me and I'm not sure they ever turned it off at all, since the backyard sprinklers started coming on while they were pulling the pipe through. Hopefully all my bathroom use was before they cut the old pipe.

So far, everything seems to be functioning correctly and our sewer line hasn't backed up, so I'm sure the crew did a good job. But it would've been nice to have some photos of the work they did, like other companies typically do at job completion, especially since the end result here is buried out of sight.

I also neglected to find out the warranty terms upfront, but I called afterwards and was told that it was 1 year on parts and 10 years on labor and craftsmanship. Overall, they provided a good service at a fair price with an excellent warranty, so I'd give them 4.5 stars rounded up. With some minor improvements, this would've been a solid 5 star experience.

Paco came out to repair a kitchen faucet and reseat 2 toilets. He did a great job. Very knowleable, friendly, and communicative. He also went above and beyond in cleaning up after the repairs. Highly recommended Gallegos based on my experience with Paco.

Working with Gallegos Plumbing was outstanding! We will be using them again for sure. We have a few more jobs that need to be done. But for our first experience, this is what I have for you. We had a leak under the kitchen counter and I needed some Plumbing work in our bathroom. So I searched on Yelp and reached out to Gallegos Plumbing. Called and someone picked up the phone right away. Explain what we had going on and the person on the phone said that they could have someone there the next day. That was nice, I didn't have to wait too long. Because we had the leak we had to keep exchanging out the bucket when it got full. So it was nice to have the job done quickly.

The day of the service appointment. Gallegos I mean showed up promptly right on time. The gentleman that worked on our plumbing problem was named Junior. He was very professional from being on time, to appearance, to his demeanor and interaction with me. I was very impressed with the level of professionalism with this company. His work was very clean and he also took the time to answer any other questions that I had. I also asked him to look at some other plumbing jobs that I will need done in the near future. He took his time with answering and addressing the concerns that I had and told me that they would get back to me with an estimate on the future jobs.

Again, I was very impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of Junior and Gallegos Plumbing as a whole. I will be using them again!

Called Gallegos to send someone to fix my water softner. Tech took it apart and left it in pieces. Returned when I asked him to. Put it partly together. Left cold water line on off. When I called for help turning it on, I got no response.

I had a leak underneath my slab and they immediately sent me someone to diagnose the problem. Then within two days they fixed the problem. I did have some billing issues however but Mark, the owner was absolutely incredible and worked with me! I really appreciate that they came here so fast and took care of the problem.

My hot water heater thermocoupler stopped working this past Sunday (7.7.24) and it took a few days to find the correct new parts as they are no longer available from the factory.

Whatever, I had originally called the main plumber I had been using and the tech. quoted me a price for installation.

While I was waiting for the correct part I had time to think that maybe the price I was originally quoted was high so I got a second opinion from Gallegos.

Their price seemed fine so I booked the job, my plumbers name was Nick, he was a personable guy, showed up as appointed and completed the job in a decent amount of time.

Gallegos' price for the install of the new thermopile was less than half of what my other plumber wanted.

And the reason, which Nick explained to me, was that some companies have their plumbers work on commission and basically they can charge whatever they can get from a customer as the commission paradigm is a breeding ground for greed based dishonesty.

Gallegos employees are hourly so there is little to no incentive to fleece customers.

And they do a great job.
