So grateful to Bob Gagnon. Our heat was out and it was going to be in the teens on a Sunday! I left messages for everyone and Bob was the only one to call me back. First he tried to get me to resolve it with detailed instructions on the phone but it was more complex so he made a house call (on Sunday) and very rapidly resolved the issue by methodically checking the most likely causes so as not to be costly for me. I have 2 zones in my house and the 2nd floor when first and the next day the other one went. I called Bob this morning (Veterans Day & a Saturday too boot) and was at my house by noon! He explained everything he was doing, checked everything and gave me great advice for the future. His price was unbelievably reasonable. I would recommend him 150%!

An outstanding plumber and craftsman. I received several bids, and although he wasn't the lowest (you never want that), he is very competitive. You will not find a plumber you is more educated or passionate about his work. He has no project managers and no salesman. Bob does all his work personally and with the care and quality of an old world craftsmen. His business phone rings in his house, and he gives (and answers) his cell phone for emergency calls. In addition, he is a truly nice person, and easy to talk to and to deal with.

One of his specialties is Heating/Air Conditioning Systems. (Replacement of a failing steam boiler is why I called him). While you may think that repair (and especially replacement) of these systems are ""routine"", they are not/should not be. Bob takes his years of education and experience into each project, and evaluates what you need carefully/completely before making a recommendation. He is so confident of the quality of his new installations that he guarantees them fully for a full 5 years.

Call Bob for your next plumbing project. Whether you hire him or not, you will gain valuable insight and information. If you do hire him, you will get a level of care and quality on your project that is rare rare in this day of commodity workmanship.

Bob really does a great job.

He has been my plumber of choice for over 10 years. Throughout that time period he has replaced pipes, valves, faucets and also installed a high efficiency boiler, and hot water tank He has always done excellent work at a fair cost.

One time my a family member, who wasnt a customer of Bob's at the time, had a heat emergency at 2 am. He called me in a panic. I referred him to Bob, who spent over 2 hours on the phone working through the issue THAT night.

Bob is a guy you can count on to get the job done and then stand by his work.

Bob just finished installing a new steam boiler and indirect hot water heater for me. I can't begin to express how pleased I am. He is a true craftsman that really goes the extra mile to do things right.

His schedule was flexible as I worked with MassSave and he's a really nice guy. I felt totally at ease having him work in my home.

And just to give another vote of confidence, the local inspector called Bob's work a ""postcard job. You take a picture of it, put it on a postcard, and send it to your friends."" I think that says it all.
