Hired GAC to fix my tankless water heater, which they did a good job on fixing. I can give them a good review for that.
Now, after they fixed the water heater, I had them look at my shower having hot & cold switched (the house has both hot & cold switched when we purchased it). While looking at it, they broke the piece & told me they'd have to order a special piece for it. The piece came in, but they had to travel to LA so, for over q week. In the meantime, I would have to have a 5-gallon bucket collect water (the leak would fill up one 5-gallon bucket worth an-hour so it was very costly & annoying to have to keep emptying it in toilets, plants, etc...). They told me he would also get me a new faceplate that would have hot & cold switched on it. When they showed up, the plate wasn't what he thought it would be, so they just peeled off the red & blue sticker (photo attached) from the old plate and tried to place it on there. They charged me for them creating this leak, by the way.
Fast forward 4 months later, the leak still occurs (not as large of a leak), unless you wiggle the handle to a perfect angle (what guests are going to remember to do that?). I called them & told them about this to have them come and fix it and they want to charge me an additional $1400 to go into the wall and replace the valve. They were the ones who originally broke it in the first place and charged me $300+ for it originally and now want another $1400 on top of that to attempt to fix it again.
They have shown no sympathy at all, offer no discount (even though they were the ones who started the leak), be wary of hiring them for other jobs besides water heaters.

We recently had a problem with our on-demand gas water heater or so we thought. We contacted GAC Plumblng and Gary walked us through every possible cause and cure. In the end he concluded that it was almost certainly the regulator on the propane tank. We thought that unlikely since we had just replaced it, but called the gas company anyway. The gas company didn't think so either. However, they finally changed the regulator, and lo and behold Gary was right. He could easily have come out and charged us for the visit, but instead gave us a good diagnosis and charged us nothing. It's refreshing to happen upon an honest, professional, and courteous business. When we have an actual problem with our water heater, GAC will be the first we call.

Called and they called back fast. Arrived On time and fixed the slow drain in the kitchen

Gary will be my contact from now on when it comes to plumbing issue. I needed help right away and he was able to change his schedule to accommodate my busy schedule. We met and studied the problems. He went on explaining what needed to be done with the rusted pipe that was leaking. He gave me a quote on that same day in the afternoon, and we agreed. On the day he was going to replace the rusted pipe, he learned that he had to notify the HOA which caused a delay. Since I was not available, Gary took the initiative to arrange a time to work on the pipe along with the HOA approval. It was done without any hustle or issues. With that said, I highly recommend GAC Plumbing. Once again, thanks, Gary!

Gary is all about doing it right. It's clear he's been in the business a long time and knows what he's doing. A thorough professional, prompt and courteous!

At the beginning of April my wife and I were faced with a plumbing emergency that left us unable to run any water in our house. In a hurry to find a plumber we found Gary and he was on time, very friendly, professional, very thorough and took the time necessary to fix our problem; working all the way into the early hours of the next morning. We've had nothing but bad experiences with contractors that we've hired to address our past issues with our home but Gary is a true diamond in the rough and we are so very glad that we hired him for the job. You're the man Gary!

What's changed in 2 years? Their website claims ""Same Day Service No Extra Charge for Nights & Weekends. 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed."" I called on a Sunday night and said we had a clogged pipe and mentioned that they had come out a couple of years ago and routered the main line really well. The woman said they had no one available. When I asked about a plumber coming out on Monday she said she was sorry but they don't do that kind of work anymore.... They don't come out and clean drains anymore?

I was calling around to fix my sewer pump since it was broken. Gary was the first person to answer. I tried to get a few quotes from others but no one answer. I was a little hesitant without getting other quotes from other companies, but I am glad that Gary answered.
Gary apologized that he could only get there in the next hour. Are you kidding!?!? That was great I was expecting a next day service call. He looked at it gave a pretty good quote. He then explained that he will try to fit me in because this is a health hazard. The next day I got a call and he said he will be their in the morning and will get it fixed! Wow.
Thanks Gary! It was a pleasure doing business with a really honest tradesman.

You will not find a more honest plumber. He was also very easy to talk to and took his time explained how our tankless water heaters worked. Gary could have torn apart my water heater but he had a thought it might be a simple solution, my shower head. And it was...Thanks Gary!!

I needed a new water heater, and decided to have a tankless installed. So I called around, and just had a good feeling about Gary at GAC. He answered all my questions, clearly knew what he was talking about, and never rushed me. It took a few phone calls to figure out exactly what I wanted to do, but Gary was very patient. So I hired him, and purchased the water heater he recommended. The installation went great. It was obvious Gary and his assistant knew what they were doing, and took pride in their work. The tankless water heater has been installed for about a year now, and it has been everything we had hoped. Based on this experience, I can highly recommend GAC Plumbing.
