substandard work. the fittings started leaking within the first year. none of the workers spoke English and couldn't not explain why they were leaking.

Rene' and his crew came out to re pipe our home. (They were sent out by Re pipe Specialists) He was on time and actually finished the job earlier than expected. Polite, efficient and clean. Rene' made sure to let me know if he thought I should remove any additional wall hangings, pictures, mirrors, etc. that could be damaged and I appreciated this. Other than the holes in the walls where pipes were redone, you could walk into my home and not even know that such a serious fix had just taken place!

If you want to hire a company that causes damages to your house, that they say they are going to fix but never do....then Ed Doucette @ G&W is your guy! These idiots hit our exterior wall so hard that it cracked and punched through the interior wall. I didn't notice it at first because the wall broke in my cabinet behind my dishes. I immediately called, texted and sent photos and he promised he would get his guys here to fix it. I sat at home waiting around for 3 days because they were going to ""fit us in""..we had our repipe in SEPTEMBER it is now NOVEMBER. Always getting the run around and having our calls/texts ignored. Do not use them or Craig from ""Call the Plumber"" in Fountain Valley...they are the company that referred us to this mess. If you damage someone's house, fix it!

When a teacher enters the classroom to teach a lesson, they make sure they present examples so the student is able to visualize and understand it and that's what you get if you contract with G and W Plumbing....Steve came out and brought samples of the tubing to be used, diagrams of the process and most importantly he brought honesty and integrity because he ensures you are aware of the process...he's not trying to hustle, scam, or advantage of you because he's wants that relationship and you best believe that. The job was done with such professionalism and craftmanship, it was an honor to provide them with a meal and some brew as a thank you. G and W Plumbing is a phenomenal company and each person I dealt with ensures that I was treated with Value and Respect...

I secured a repipe job with Repiping Specialist after I had a slab leak that caused considerable water damage to my house.
A crew of 5 gentlemen showed up this morning promptly at 8:00 and did a fantastic job.
They were polite, professional and took great care to cover and protect my house as they worked.
They cleaned up every place they were before leaving and made sure e everything worked before leaving.
I would recommend both companies for your repiping needs.

My personal experience with this company from start to finish is TERRIBLE!! On the day of the repiping, G&W plumbing which is affilated to Repipe Specialists company sent their crew of 7 people over.
When checking off the poor repiping worked they had done. The guy who removed my bathroom mirror cracked it. The guy who climbed up to my attic removed my alarm system plugs and didn't say a thing. I ended up getting an alert on my back up alarm battery unit saying low battery which caused a false alarm. Now, my back up alarm battery is low in power because some moron they hired caused this mess. I was charged $40 from my alarm company for this moron mistakes! When checking off the faucet in the house, my Grohe Faucet Side Spray 46857DC0 Supersteel Infinityfinish was damaged by Julio stupidity. This Grohe Faucet Side Spray 46857DC0 Supersteel Infinityfinish replacement alone cost over $150.49 on Amazon! He removed and started jamming tools to removed the debris causing the filter to break and the spray split. Now I have water spraying all directions when using my kitchen faucet. When I checked my irrigation, it turns out the it turns out they never connected back to the main. Now I have no irrigation in my front yard. My back yard irrigation when wacked.
When I reported to Repipe Specialists, they took my information down but no call back. When reported to G&W Plumbing, they say they will get back to me. No call back as of yet. It has been more than 5 days. I left voice and text messages to John Oscarson. He simply replied, they are aware of it. I will have to wait for a call back.
Next, the guys they send over for patching. Nope, they did not come right back the next day. Instead they showed up the day after without any prior noticed what time they will show up. They showed up at my door at 7:30am. Asked if they can begin work early. The guy Joel dropped off two kids. (One was his son and his son's friend about 18 years old.) The son told me his dad had to go pick up some equipment while he left them in charge. The patch work was messy. The kids left a mess in my rooms. They didn't covered everything leaving fallen insulation debris all over the closet inside and outside. They laid their dirty finger prints on my door frames and walls.
If you are still reading this... by now you probably figured out this is an awful company to hire. Yes, they are cheaper than most and they give you a huge list of names that they claimed their satisfied customers. If you want to go through the mess I've experienced. Sure, go ahead and hire these irresponsible and unreliable people.
Did I mentioned I had to repeatedly asked them to keep the mask on. One guy from the Repipe crew kept taking off his mask while working in my bathroom. One kid from the patching crew kept removing his mask while patching up my walls. This is unacceptable!
Still they owe me replacement cost of my This Grohe Faucet Side Spray 46857DC0 Supersteel Infinityfinish replacement alone cost over $150.49 on Amazon. I called to follow up numerous times! Those liars claims they send out a check in the mail. Had said they drop off a check. Neither was ever done. These morons are irresponsible and unreliable!!
Just warning ya! Run! Skip this for the peace of your mind. You don't want to end up spending more than you have to when stuff breaks in your house caused by these MORONS!

I cannot recommend G&W Plumbing and Repipe highly enough. Owner Gary was wonderful about answering my numerous questions and he has great staff--his foreman Jimmie, the guy who does the patching, Felipe, and the rest of his crew. They were all great about wearing masks and maintaining distance from us. We have an old fashioned two-story house in Old Towne Orange and they were wonderful about minimizing the mess and wall repair that accompanies a complete house repipe. They came in and did the entire repipe in one day, patching the walls the next day. Whenever any small issue arose during such a huge job, they were prompt and cheerful in resolving it. We were greatly relieved that such a big job was done so quickly and efficiently.

We had a whole house Repipe done in early July. Their representative Stevo Hines explained the Repipe process thoroughly. He showed the materials they offer and explained the difference between them. He came by several times and and even counseled us on obtaining the best interest rate available to us with our credit cards. He was very helpful.
Jimmy the foreman of the working crew was patient and explained the process and answered all of our questions. The entire crew was very professional, polite and thoughtful. Overall it was a good experience. I highly recommend them.

Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy!!!
I hired G & W Plumbing in April to repipe our drains. It is now July and the tile work is still incomplete.
When the estimate was being done, I mentioned the desire to remove a sunken tub and replace it with a walk in shower. The project manager, John, said that it would make his job easier if he could demo the tub so he had access to the crawlspace to remove pipes. He offered to do some of the work at cost.
I thought this would save me some money as I had an estimate on doing the replacement job.
I cannot tell how well the repiping was completed as I did not get under the house.
The tile work by Phillipe, however, was the sloppiest job I have ever seen.
Here are the reasons I make this judgement:
1 - Shower arm hole too large for flange, tile had to be replaced.
2 - Walls not plumb. This was the most costly problem. I had an estimate to install a custom shower door and told John that the walls must be plumb. When the job was done and the walls were not plumb, John blamed this on a warped tile. How stupid did he think I was?
This problem cost me HUNDREDS of dollars extra to have the shower door installed properly.
3 - Threshold slanted toward floor, not shower. Had to be redone.
4 - Drain lower than floor level. Had to be redone.
5 - Wall tiles not level. This would have meant a redo of the entire job.
All the rework added to the cost of the project due to the need to purchase more tile.
I would NOT rehire this group again for any reason.

We thought the repipe went smoothly until we found a leak under a sink, which ended up damaging our sink base cabinet/shelf. The drywall repair/texture crew didn't do a great job of matching the existing texture , and it took three weeks for the stucco crew to show up to do the exterior stucco patch, and one month later we are still waiting for the stucco crew to finish the exterior stucco... and because they are not done we cannot get the city to close out the permit. Ed Doucette, plumbing manager, has stopped responding to calls/texts. Really disappointing. There are many other repipe companies out there who will do a great job, contact one of them.
