First of all I found this business on Yelp in less than 5 minutes on 3/19/23 which was Sunday due to needing my upstairs toilet being stopped up he said he will be out at 6pm the same day he did show up and take care of the problem and I'm gonna be honest I've never been able to get in touch with a business and they show up the same day at the time they stated I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS if I was able to give him more than 5 stars I would very impressive Thank you G & F plumbing

Yes, I ended up selecting G&F Plumbing for the replacement of my garbage disposal unit. I was pleasantly surprised that Gilbert (the owner) had done some work on my plumbing a few years back, and I forgot about him until I saw an old text thread between us. Anyway, he was prompt, professional and thorough. I do not know if his service fee is the least expensive, but I thought it was fair. I will gladly call on him again for any plumbing work that I may need in the future.

How fortunate I was to find Gilbert.

My house flooded because my area drain in the backyard was clogged. I got a free estimate from some of the big boys in plumbing. They said it couldn't be snaked and would have to be hydrojetted. What was the cost? $1200. Yeah. Then I went looking and found others who said a much lower price but all of them around $500 for hydrojetting. Too much for my wallet; I'm on social security.

And then, G & F Plumbing and Rooter came up with $175 to snake the area drain. I was skeptical, since the price was so much lower than anybody else. And when I asked if snaking the PVC pipe would damage the pipe, he said that he wouldn't use a blade but a whip on his snake. In fact, since I also had a 90 degree turn on my drainage wipe, I wondered if that would matter, but he assured me that he could do it.

However, we had another problem. My neighbor's son had left his jeep in front of the access/exit hole, so we couldn't reach it. And it was raining again, and my house was going to flood again. Even though the jeep hadn't been moved, Gilbert came back with a solution. He fixed two pieces of PVC together to go under the jeep and reach the access/exit hole. And, despite the rain on us both, he cleared that drain before my house flooded.

Now, tell me who would do all that for so little money? Yeah, Gilbert was trained by one of the large plumbing institutions and spent 6 years as a plumber with them before he went on his own way. He's an expert, and I am so grateful to write him this review because he saved me lots of money and kept my home from flooding again.

I had a clogged kitchen sink and needed to swap out my garbage disposal and kitchen faucet. I supplied the new disposal and new kitchen sink. I requested quotes from various plumbers, and Gilbert was not only one of the first plumbers to respond, but he was consistently communicative and his pricing was fair and reasonable.

Scheduling with him was easy. He came out when he said he would, was courteous enough to wear booties as I do not wear shoes in my home, and was overall friendly and professional.

He snaked my kitchen drain to unclog all that gunk, swapped out my old garbage disposal, installed my new kitchen faucet, and ensured that everything was working properly. He showed me the valves to adjust the speed of water that comes out of my faucet should I need to change it, took away my old disposal and former faucet, and cleaned up after himself.

He even washed my old gunky sink plug, and left my kitchen area tidy. All this in just over an hour.

Professional and pleasant workmanship and I am satisfied. Stop your search efforts and call Gilbert! I highly recommend him for all your plumbing needs!

My rental property unit had a leaking bathroom faucet and was looking for a plumber to do the repairs ASAP. Gilbert from G&F reached back out to me and quoted me a really fair price over the phone and was honest from the first time we spoke. He met me at the property same day on time and repairs were done same day as well. He even mounted down the sink counter top which I had no clue that it was not mounted down and looked at couple other things for safety issues.
