Our water heater was displaying an error code that I couldn't find online, and we were not getting hot water at home. After calling a few plumbing companies, they were all trying to schedule an appointment for me days from now. Desperate, I called GEM Precision Plumbing and talked to Greg. He patiently listened to our problem and told me to wait for his phone call while he did some research. He promptly called me back and helped me reset our water heater which he said should easily fix the problem. I tried his suggestion, and lo and behold we got hot water at home! Over a simple phone call, Greg was able to help fix my problem immediately and free of charge, while others probably would have charged me a service fee for having a technician come over. Not only is Greg knowledgeable, but also honest and I really appreciated that. Definitely recommend using this company in the future for any plumbing issues!

I definitely recommend GEM precision plumbing! I had a leak at the base of my toilet and wanted to make sure it didn't turn into something larger. After calling Greg to explain my problem, he gave me a number in which I could text him. I sent a few pictures and he asked me a few questions and gave me a couple of ""tests"" to perform to help him identify the problem. He came out the next morning and had my toilet fixed within about an hour.

The best part is that he explained the problem and the solution he used to fix it. I may not have understood it all, but I appreciated it and it gave me some info to research and left me feeling confident that I wouldn't run into related issues down the line.

Within a couple of days I gave him another call and referred him to my aunt's house. She had mid five figures worth of plumbing work done on her 100 year old house over the last few years and the new bid sounded way too high (again). Greg went out there and not only assessed the current situation but also looked over the previous receipts and confirmed that this company was severely overcharging her. When he called to let me know, I'd say he was even more pissed off about it than me, LOL!

Greg is a good guy trying to make an honest living. He's easily well equipped to handle all of your typical household plumbing needs. I don't have too many plumbing issues (knock on wood), so I can't say how his prices compare to others, but I think you'll get competent, hard work at a fair price.

My tankless water heater went out after 7 years. I called the manufacturer and I was told that it would not be covered under warranty. I gave Greg a call at GEM. He promptly came out and took a look at the heater and determined what needed to be done to get it working again. He returned the following morning (I picked up the needed parts at the manufacture's warehouse). He pretty much replaced all of the working parts (or non-working!). All parts were covered under warranty.

I feel that a paid a fair price for his knowledge and expertise.

Greg at G.E.M. does exceptional work at a reasonable price. He is knowledgeable, conscientious, courteous, responsible. He checked with the Noritz Tankless Co. to assess an error code. Error codes are not given out to the installers and he could have overlooked it since the system was operating normally. He suggested some ideas to maintain the system. He was on time as stated. This was a service call for general maintenance on our 2-yr. old system. Money well spent.

If you want a HONEST installer, look no further. Greg was patient, knowledgeable, and wanted to see why another company quoted me $900 worth of additional work. He came over within 30 mins and was able to verify that I did not need any of the modifications as suggested by another company. He saved me $$$ and time. He is truly one of the few HONEST people out there. Such a hard worker and I would definitely recommended him to all of my family and friends.

Once again, GEM Plumbing saved the day with prompt, effective service when we needed it most. Getting ready to host a party for 40 people was a perfect moment for our master bath shower gooseneck to break INSIDE THE WALL! GEM dispatched Chris and Jason (shame on me if Jason's name is wrong), and these two gentlemen had the problem fixed in an hour--and we didn't have to tear open the wall!

I had a leaky water line to my water heater that. Thought I could handle it.
I made a few contacts , ended up using Greg as he responded in a quick timely manner . He chagred what he said though going above and beyond the call of duty I will say . You cant asked for much more when hiring a plumber.

Mixed feelings about GEM. On one hand, Gem fixed the problem. On the other, gem charged above average pricing. Their craftsmanship looks legit on the outside. But in the process, he complain alot about using too much of his material. I felt strong armed in a few decisions to support gem's bottom line, not my outcome. Gem made multiple follow up visits for free cuz of oversights and issues. In one of these visits, I asked for a quote on another plumbing problem ($170). I let it drag on for months dreading the price until I called a regular handyman. $70 labor and $30 for parts later, my $170 problem is fixed.
